I just wonder if Ra's al Ghul's name ever pops up in a puppet master pulling the strings kind of way. That one actually makes a ton of sense given that he's like 500 years old. Actually bringing him onto the show wouldn't make much sense, but a few subtle hints towards his existence would be cool.

Everything I've ever heard makes it sound like the Islanders want defense in return though. So Edmonton really has little chance there.

There's no need to explain it. The title screen was as blatant a reference as possible. It can just be about him suddenly showing up though, it doesn't necessarily mean it's all him the rest of the way. I'm not so sure they can go with just him for the rest of the season.

There are also so many scenarios now where they will make a call to keep a play going, knowing that replay will sort it out after. There are essentially no repercussions for making a bad call.

Yeah, the name dropped villain probably comes in for season 3, but I wouldn't base that solely on the title screen. That was an obvious move given the last scene. I'm still holding out hope that the other villain becomes much bigger. I think there's more to work with there. Also, my big question right now is how exactly they redeem Barbara enough to have Gordon name his daughter after her. I'd imagine some sort of self-sacrifice, but it's going to take a lot to make that happen.

They certainly need to do something because the complaints have been far too numerous this year. There truly is a third team on the field now, playing a role in the game's result.

I enjoy it, but they're rushing some of these villains a bit though, especially last night's reveal. They're at least ten years away from Batman, some of these guys should not be active yet. Young Penguin and Nygma, that's fine, but it feels way too early for where the next half of the season is going. That said, I wonder which of the two villains revealed last night will play the bigger role moving forward. As a Batman junkie, I do absolutely hate that they have killed off already.

I just wonder how much they use the other superheros that have been talked about. I wish they were simply just background or maybe presented at the end, but it sounds like Wonder Woman will have a bit more to her role. I worry about overload from these characters, especially since they have zero development. At least with Batman, even though this is a new version, he's VERY familiar to all. Oh, and I hope Bats has a Sherlock Holmes hat and glasses to go along with that trench coat. He needs to live up to that detective label.

It would be exactly the Edmonton dilemma, except that we actually have a should be stud defenseman in place. I think you would have to move one of them for D though. If you find your self in a place with two horses on the blue line, you are an instant contender.

Everything from the Abe/Sasha/Daryl episode was Negan's people. The 3 who ran off were being chased for taking stuff (the insulin) that didn't belong to them. And running into more people around DC would make sense, a much more dense population as they move towards the northeast. There's bound to be more of these pockets of civilization. The wolves came from the south as well, at least as far as Richmond, where Noah's home was. I guess the question would be how far away that truck yard trap was where Aaron dropped his pictures of Alexandria.

It's funny, looking over his game log again today, I automatically brushed over the mop up appearances when I looked yesterday. How quickly we tend to forget those ones. But either way, I see all the inside jokes have taken off in here anyway. -

This makes me wonder what exactly I am. I'm not one of the old timers and I'm not one of the kids. I'm somewhere in between. So what the hell am I? And as for fall/winter TV, February and Better Call Saul need to get here soon. To a much lesser extent, I also want the new episodes of It's Always Sunny coming up in January.

Duke occasionally sends us emails with discounts from random companies in the area. Today we get one and I notice that the address is on Wehrle drive in Buffalo. Odd.

Other than Harvin, it seems like everyone brought in this offseason has worked out at least fairly well. The major drop off has been with guys who were already here, specifically that defense. If they're anywhere near where they were last year we are at least two games better. I have a tough time pinning this on Whaley. I do think he winds up gone, but we are looking in the wrong place and it will only prolong the agony. Is it still called agony of it lasts two decades (soon enough)?

One single assumed death in the whole episode. Obviously Deanna is gone, but we don't know exactly how. They started this season off so well in the first four or so episodes and then it all came to a screeching halt after the Glenn stuff. What a shame. Now the only purpose of this show seems to be to push that badlands show. I'm very annoyed with how AMC is shoving that down our throats.
