Regarding those other GMs, you may be assuming that Adams and Co. would trade him in the first place if they all came knocking nor do we know what his perceived potential is by other GMs around the league anyway. As for what everyone here would package him with and for whom, while amusing, it has no basis in reality at this point. My point about Power is this: while it’s nice that he might help fetch a player like Robertson, Robertson is fully formed and at his ceiling already. If Power reaches his ceiling, he will be every bit as good a Dman as Robertson is a forward and imo, Dmen that good are more valuable to a team. Agree entirely that Power needs to show improvement otherwise any point I have is moot.

Well here's something positive for the Sabres. After watching the Bruins today I'm pretty confident the Sabres won't finish last in the division.
-
Clifton’s head scratching tendencies was well noted when he was acquired
-
If Kesselring sucks, it is because of Wilford and Ruff. Just like when Dahlin sucked it was all Barg Kruger
-
Yeah. However improved any defense is you still need decent goaltending. We’ll know by mid November. It would some crazy stuff if things clicked and they went six or seven games in the first round.
-
I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
-
If UPL falters and isn’t quickly replaced, this team is cooked. At a minimum, we need average goaltending. If we don’t get it, the ship will again sink.
-
I also hoped for second liner. Maybe Quinn, Benson, Kulich, and Norris will make up for Peterka’s lost production. Hopefully the new defense compensates for if UPL sucks again.
-
If the rest of the NHL GMs thought this then we could trade Power straight up for Robertson or other players of his ilk. Yet everyone here packages him with first rounders and top prospects. This is the year that Power has to make a significant improvement in his game.

I don’t think it’s a majority disagreement on what the country shouldn’t be. I think there is a very loud minority of voices from multiple sides that try (and successfully) to spin people up. I definitely think there are people who want things to continue spinning out of control. The purpose being to burn down what is to make way for what they think the country should be. Their openness for violence and suffering come from lack of experiencing what that looks like. They themselves are mentally, emotionally, and physically unprepared for what they seek because those environments take a toll. Trust me.
-
We can harp on the goaltending but I don’t see any goaltending keeping an ounce of confidence playing behind the defense and forwards we’ve had lately. Not saying UPL will jump to heroic heights, but him getting to average May just come from the defensive changes

I checked out the arena in Kirkcaldy this spring while travelling and golfing in the area. It is quite the old franchise, 1934 or thereabouts.

That's right and precisely why I made the comment. It's not so much about upgrading for me, it's that we need everything we have and one more not decent, excellent forward. Id consider trading for him but I don't think giving anything up at least in the top 6-8 work for me. Prospects in Rochester and picks, yes I would, but that's not going to get him.

Since our inception as a nation, our people, regardless of party, have never agreed on what America should be, but we never had a problem agreeing, regardless of party, on what it shouldn’t be. Until now.

Sunday night - Clan went travelling to Kirkcaldy to face the Fife Flyers in the challenge cup. Langan opened the scoring, but Fife quickly came back and took a 2-1 lead with a short handed goal. Hugo Roy (former Coachella firebird) tied the game up 20 seconds later. Player of the weekend, Langan, set up young Scottish forward Alex Forbes for the go ahead goal. The third period ended scoreless and included a disallowed clan goal. All in all a very good weekends work for the Clan

That seems a bit unfair.

You hope.

You literally posted on an open forum everything I said you did. I have quoted it multiple times. In response to those quotes you confirmed your stance. You undoubtedly support the suffering of others in order to gain their compliance in the pursuit of making the U.S. what you think it should be. Whether you or anyone else agrees, based on my professional experience that is the mindset of someone who supports domestic terrorism. Again, I don’t see what moral high ground you have to lecture someone on their supposed penchant for violence.

This is definitely Lindy in the driver seat and KA is along for the ride.

LMFAO! You can’t influence my fandom in the least, so get over yourself. Unlike you, I don’t begrudge fans for any way they might feel; from optimists to cynical old cusses like you. So you keep on keepin’ on and you do you. Hey look, we are still tied for the top in the league standings!

As you seem to allude to that coaching is critical in putting players in a position to succeed. As you well know, on that score the Sabres are working with a deficit compared to well run teams. Without even discussing roster talent, the Sabres are handicapped from a coaching standpoint. The Pegula franchise is full of internal obstacles that make competing with normally run franchises difficult.
