Hard to tell when the whole team brings each other down in certain ways. Guys I thought were not good would go to other teams and look so much better than I thought

How do you feel about the group of forwards we currently have?

He was waived by Nashville on November 9, 2024 and according to https://shrpsports.com/nhl/stand.php?link=Y&season=2025&divcnf=cnf&month=Nov&date=9 the Sabres were actually higher in the standings than Columbus who ultimately got him. - Today

They once were... Yup, my bad...reading comprehension was lacking yesterday for some reason 😂😂 -
Oh wait.... lol 😆

And then there’s that team still alive in the eastern conference that is further south than Carolina. Apparently someone doesn’t realize where Florida is located.

2020 was Tampa over Dallas, and 2023 was Vegas over Florida.

I remember reading that Matt Duchene’s parents saved every receipt and the total was over $300K, for them. That was over 20 years ago. Martin could have a chip on his shoulder instead of a silver spoon. I am also partial to the 3 Northern OHL teams. Sign me up. -

Fredric would add versatility and grit to the bottom six. Pietrangelo is a perfect target for experience and style. Probably would have to shed Byram and Mule for cap space. He is from southern Ontario and may want to move closer to finish out his career. He already has 2 cups so he could tolerate the new role. I would gamble on Demko. Will someone pull a double offer sheet on the Rangers? Schneider and Cuylle. Take that Drury! Tavares would have to publicly burn his Leafs pyjamas, but his uncle could give him a new pair. -
The nhl could have its first fully southern Stanley cup finals if it’s Dallas and Carolina

He isn’t an Ameoba he is more like a Hydra. You cut one head off and another one just sprouts. The guy just survives everything that kills everyone else in his position.

Unbelievable goaltending that whole fourth Q. Why a fun game, place was rocking. Wish Sabres games were that much fun…. -
I think Dallas can beat Edmonton, but a few players on Dallas need to get going, Benn, Hintz, and Robertson.

Don't think so. Not at 7. There will be better talent for them there. I'd place Martin around 12 but if the Sabres want to take him at 9 I'd not have any problem with that. -
I think Dallas has a better chance of beating Edmonton than Winnipeg would have, so there’s a silver lining. Next hopefully Toronto loses.
-
Man, Scheifele. That's the worst possible outcome. I was hopeful they would at least kill the penalty.

I should say, it was episode 5 for me where it took off. 5 and 6 were excellent -
Yeah that's brutal and a rival #55 scored to seal it also.
-
I feel terrible for Scheifele
-
Am I reading the box score right? Only one penalty and that was at the end of 3rd and could very well have been a PS. Great job by the refs letting them play.
-
This game has been amazing considering it's only 1-1, 2 big physical teams laying it all on the line.
-
Didn't want to suggest it was "neat and tidy", just an overall trend. There's no question there's a lot of talent on that roster but that's also the case with the Sabres. Lots of high end talent on the big club too. No not at all. What I am saying is the roster isn't balanced. Just like the big club.

We need NHLers not more prospects. If Byram goes to Seattle than I'm eyeing Kaapo Kakko as a possible return.
