Crusader1969 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I'll add Kulich is dealing with something that isn't an injury. Quote
msw2112 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Curious who steps in. Does Östlund come back? I assume Benson will still be out. Quote
SabresBaltimore Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago can we call anyone up without first placing 1 or both of them on IR? I know IR in the NHL is different but we can we put them on IR for 1 game? I'm expecting them to have to play Geersten and Bryson (is he active, or maybe he's still on IR?). I'd rather waive Geersten than play him again. Quote

Porous Five Hole Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago LOL Kulich has a non-injury health issue related to his ears, per Lindy. Is this team cursed? Quote
Doohickie Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago "some roster stuff we definitely have to talk about." Hey Kevyn: WHY DO WE HAVE THREE GOALIES? 3 Quote
Doohickie Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Just now, K-9 said: Helenius please. Not until they free up a roster spot. They may roll three lines against Utah with Rosén and Quinn rotating into the top line. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Well at least the D-corps is healthy, because the forwards are at about 60% operational strength from the preferred roster. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Do we have any forwards left? The Sabres are down to 8 NHL forwards - Thompson, Tuch, Quinn, Doan, McLeod, Greenway, Krebs and Malenstyn. The next guys are AHL callup Rosen, 4th line roster filler in Dunne and Geertsen. Next men up are Östlund (who looked lost in his callup), Helenius, who hasn’t played in the NHL and maybe Jake Leschyshyn? Edited 5 hours ago by GASabresIUFAN Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago X - X - Thompson Doan - McLeod - Tuch X - X - Quinn Malenstyn - Krebs - Greenway X - X - Geertsen Out: Benson, Norris, Zucker, Kulich, Danforth, Kozak Likely in the lineup next game: Östlund, Dunne, Rosén, and Geertsen? Krebs - Thompson - Greenway Doan - McLeod - Tuch Rosén - Östlund - Quinn Malenstyn - Dunne - Geersten Krebs got a look in preseason with Norris-TNT, so I'd presume he goes up the lineup. But Rosén or Östlund on TNT's line wouldn't surprise me to try to better balance out the AHLers. Quote

He is supposed to be a driver of offense and in his 4 games he created nothing (12 games including last year). Ruff skated him 10:50 a game with zero to show for it. Quote
