Judgement is in: If Norris can't get to 50 games played, their center depth is McLeod (a 2-3) and Kulich (still too young to be sure exactly, but 2 ceiling). That's going to lead to where they were last season -- which was 5th from last for much of the year until the other teams started exclusively playing backup goalies against them.

He probably had IV antibiotics if he had an infected cut.

I’m going to quibble with the post.  Thompson can play center, and I actually think Krebs can be an effective 3rd line center. Kozak is also a solid choice as a 4th line center.   Center isn’t our issue.  Lack of playmakers, goaltenders and defensive D remain our issues and that didn’t really change this off-season.

so, opening night, and who are the players supposed to be here that weren't (or didn't finish game #1?)

Sorry my bad he is virtually an iron man! Gary Unger and Craig Ramsay and Cal Ripken got nothing on him cmon man

I'm not saying he isn't injury prone....Just no need to post something when you say "literally" and it is exactly not true...thus not 'literally'

This is exactly where I am now. You may not be serious about that trade, but I think you have to just get rid of everybody at this point and start over.
 

they will all demand to get out of the city by the end of the year so you might as well just get it over with.

Norris picked the wrong sport to pursue.

He’s not tough enough for the rigors of NHL hockey, imo.

Adams knew his history. 

Took a chance on him.

Lost.

It goes back to, "why was Ottawa willing to deal a 2C with the playoffs looming"? Simple, they needed someone they could rely on in the playoffs. Can they rely on Cozens? TBD, though he was definitely on the ice for some bad goals against in their series last year. Maybe he can learn (maybe they'll move him to the wing). But at least he was there in the playoffs and durable.

Heck, Norris was already injured when they traded him.
