Johnson/Bryson goes down when Power comes back

likely Georgiev goes on waivers when Kesserling is back.

 

Then when UPL comes back it will be a tough call, so many will say Geertsen goes down, but I dont think they do that. I do assume UPL is a long term thing here

Gotta think he and/or Kesselring have to be close and this is prudent paperwork.

Or are they really OK with being one undercooked piece of chicken from starting Mason Geertsen on D?

Yay, Bryson is back in the lineup. I know we're down two d men but still. And we have a silly goalie rotation yet again. How anyone can take ka seriously is beyond me

There is only 6 defensemen listed on the roster so ya my thought is likely Power is good to go soon. And they will just kick the can down the road for sending someone down

 

Likely they get Ellis in to practice on Wednesday, Power tests it and is G2G, then they make a corresponding move then. Likely Georgiev on waivers

6 defensemen and 3 goalies. Take a wild guess where the space is made for the 7th defenseman.

This roster is a joke.  14 forwards?  3 bad goalies.  Only 6 D highlighted by Bryson and Johnson.

I wonder if it's too late for me to try out for the team?  I'm in my 60's, can't skate, and have a strained knee, but maybe they need a 4th goalie?

What is the vision for the roster?  

I get the injuries to Power and Kesselring jumbled the D group, but Lyon, Georgiev and Ellis in net?  

I understand the pick up of Ellis.  His AHL numbers are very good and he wasn’t displacing Binnington but why keep Georgiev?  
 

Why does Geersten bring?  He hasn’t played in the NHL is 3-4 years.  I like Kozak, but where does he fit?

Whoever had 14-6-3 on their card when camp opened, please share whatever it is you're on.

Guess if a D-man not named Dahlin gets hurt, until they can get an emergency callup of Jones, they'd run Dahlin for 30-32 minutes; Byram for 26-28; leaving the other 3 ~20 minutes each hoping for a LOT of PP time.

That’s my point.  Why are UPL, Lyon, Georgiev and now Ellis the best options in net. Basically the goaltending is so bad, I’m not sure this team has a chance.

Who would you have gotten?

Ka has had 5-6 years to fix the goalie position. I'd say we're in as bad of or worse shape than when ka came here.
