The Sabres draft Rosens when they should draft Bensons. Mrtka gives me some hope, as I keep saying, every time I see more my opinion on him goes up. 1 Quote

K-9 Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago I appreciate the grit the kid showed and his aggressive play in front of his net, especially on the PK, especially with two guys already in the box, but a chop to the back of the legs like that is cheap imo. Quote

Pimlach Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago I just hope he is good enough to play in the NHL because we need exactly what he said. I want players that other teams don't like playing against, and I want Buffalo's arena to be a place that teams do not like visiting. 2 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Adams has been saying the "harder to play against" mantra and Kesselring and Doan are harder to play against guys but overall the prospect cupboard is not hard to play against and the current team isn't either. It's easy to say but I doubt we see it any time soon. Quote

It's easy to say but I doubt we see it any time soon. They’ve done a better job the last 3 drafts. We still haven’t seen any of the fruits of that labor. Which is typical for mid level prospects. I suspect we’ll start seeing them next season if we aren’t counting the height challenged but plays big and aggressive Benson. Quote

There are a few guys who might emerge as the type of players they need but we don't really know yet. Veterans of that ilk added in the interim would have made me happier while we wait. Quote

Big fan here of Owen Sound captain David Bedkowski defending the net front in the Attack's Friday OT win in London. “You don’t have to be a bad guy off the ice, but, on the ice, you have to be mean. You can’t be friendly on the ice, guys who are too friendly on the ice, I know as a player, they’re easy to play against.” 1 Quote
