The Sabres have too many bottom six players. Krebs can be replaced with Kozak. I’d trade Krebs and throw in Samuelsson to get out of his contract, and make room for Ryan Johnson.

Maybe, but I think the opposite. 

Despite not many more points, I thought last year was Krebs best season by far regarding his overall game, and he even got better as the season went on.

There is no question that Krebs played his best last offseason. But even acknowledging that what is his upside and highest role? I don’t seeing him being able to earn a top two line role. However, he should be able to play well as a third or fourth line player.

I’m not pushing to get rid of him because he is a contributing role player. But if he was included in a trade deal that brought us back a second line caliber of player, I would be receptive to that type of deal.

As a recovering Krebs supporter: I think people like him more than his game warrants because he looks the part.

What’s up with Roslovic ? Seems to be a FA that the Sabres could fit in at $3.5m.. flexible to play C. Issues around attitude seem to be brought up. Best available player at a position of need 🤷🏻‍♂️

Im thinking the 12/13th forward is a good proxy?

As to the “pretty solid” assertion: I’ll agree to the extent that, if Krebs is a fixture on your team’s 3rd line, then your team is most likely an ~82 point squad.

1st numbers are the raw total, 2nd is where his numbers rank statistically  in terms of the average NHL depth chart ie #7/8 forward equals a 3rd liner. Names are players with similar numbers in that particular category
