Agree, I’m not really worried about the Byram deal. I think the bidding market will help offset Adams natural inability and we end up with a player tantamount to Byram: either Byram himself or another player who can help you win if put in a specific situation

the bigger move to me is one where we see actual improvement: we haven’t made a single one this offseason! Is anyone else noticing this? Regardless of what happens with Byram, we need a futures trade. Right now for a F or for a D should we trade Byram for a F.

That's a fantasy.  Wait too long and the offers dry up as teams look elsewhere and/or they run out of cap space.  Eventually, you run out of suitors and then you are left with having to re-sign a player who doesn't want to be here.  This what happened with both Ullmark and Reinhart.  Maybe he just signs a 1 year deal and forces Adams to trade him at the deadline or next off-season (his last as an RFA).  Regardless, better trade him now while there is a market for his services.

There are very few teams with cap issues.

Am I the only person who just wants this move done one way or another, either he's bridged, signed, or traded?

Nope. I feel the exact same way.

I don't think he's great but I don't think he's bad. I just want to know what's going on.

I’m excited to see what happens with Byram, but I’m actually ok with Kevyn taking his time with this as long as he gets the best return as possible.  Let the other teams battle it out until one finally offers the right deal.
