85 is exactly what this team looks like at present.

They need to go into the off-season planning on putting together a team that can win 3 out of 5 games.  (Not even quite that as other teams in the NHL are allowed to get loser points, the Sabres SHOULD be allowed to do that as well.  Get 6 points every 5 games.)  But they put together teams that MIGHT POSSIBLY if EVERYTHING, literally everything, GOES RIGHT get to about 95 points.  At some point they have to realize that the '05-'06 Canes only happens once a generation and it usually ends like the '96 Panthers journey ends - getting frog stomped by the much better team at the end of it all.

Adams is a loser though. He betrays that mentality everytime he talks. He's not a leader.
