This game against the Patriots is absolutely huge.  Big opportunity to create separation from every team in the division.  The Drake Maye love in Boston seems very premature.  Would be nice if the Bills d steps up and drops a soul crushing on the New England spirit.

The D is lost

I had to look it up, but 6 D starters injured? With a 7th during the game? If that’s accurate yikes! And then Lamar to boot during the game?

I haven’t looked at any Ravens forums yet but that fan base has to be in melt down mode.

Unfortunately, Drake Maye is the real deal.

I agree. He will develop and its only a matter of time before the O-line is upgraded and they get him a couple weapons.

And boy does it pain me to type that.

Imagine wasting most of Drake Mayes QB life b.c he is stuck in a division with Josh Allen.

I hear that, but Drake Maye will never play a snap against Josh Allen.

So what kind of QB will the Jets be corrupting with their very early pick coming up in the draft?

They're going to trade a fourth-round pick for Shedeur Sanders.

Arch Manning, of course.

I still believe Justin Fields could be a decent QB. He needs the same development track Josh Allen had.

Allen was in his old bad habit of hero ball throwing deep to covered receivers. But he came back to MVP Josh and got the job done

Eh.  Getting intercepted deep on third down is kind of like a punt.

Old-man history mode:

The WWIV dial-up BBS software was popular around Buffalo in the late-80s and early-90s. For those who never used one, someone would run a (usually) DOS program on a PC with a modem and you could dial into it from your computer. DMs and Message boards, not unlike here. One person at a time, with time-limits. Later, these were networked (by dialing each other periodically and exchanging new messages) so you all didn't have to show up serially on one system. One of the largest networks of these was IceNet, which was founded by a guy named Jim Nunn in Buffalo. For awhile, I was a SysOp on Chain Reaction BBS, which I think was an IceNet node.

Thanks for the prompt to unlock some old memories. I don't specifically remember talking Bills back then, but I can't believe there weren't some boards focused on sports.

That too, just not as many people outside universities had access to it at the time. FreeNet run out of UB I think had usenet, but it's been a long time, lol. I love these old "Internet" articles: https://www.buffalo.edu/ubreporter/archive/vol26/vol26n2/1a.txt

(Thanks for indulging my ramblings, lol.

My first "social media" exposure was detroit.freenet.org in the mid 1990s.  Because it was still a local forum, we had meet ups once in a while.
