Getting fleeced in the PLD trade didn't help. PLD shatting the bed fanned the flames. Kings' fans wanted his head on a platter. I'll bet most Kings' fans are happy with the move.

My only change would have been to do the end of the tusk in that old Phoenix style pattern. Not the colors, just the shape

Good logo and good name but wow, terrible colors. I would have gone with Yetti and gone all white for one version.

They ran into legal issues with the water bottle company and couldn't use the name yeti.  They did want it.

They’re keeping the Utah on the road whites, eh? Not a fan of that. Embrace your logo. It’s good. Flipping shoulder patches feels busy.

They need a 4th color for accents and for the alternate jersey when they’re compelled to make one. It’s drab right now.

Yeah. What I had originally heard is that their copyright also includes using that name on clothing. A hockey team is going to put its name on a lot of clothing. They couldn’t work out a deal.

I think any other sport probably could have gotten away with it. But since ice is involved, they can claim confusion.
