I hope they manage to sign one of the available coaches before other clubs suck them up by the off season. (and hoping that one of them may actually want to come here and try and fix this mess) Berube, Gallant, hell, I would be satisfied with Boudreau. Personally, (although I have never met the man) I like Don Granato and was hoping he would be "THE GUY" to lead us out of the darkness. It is plain to me now that he just isn't it. He had enough time and to see the complete regression this season, with the same continuous mistakes being made and lack of accountability, we just cannot continue with him at the helm. Or the players needed to wake up ?🤔 All coaches have a "best before date" comes with the deal. Eventually players get too comfortable, the contracts are signed and the money is guaranteed. That is when the GM has to make a change. As the saying goes with coaching "you're hired to be fired". Part of the human condition. Notice how well players perform when they're close to hitting bonus targets or are playing for new contracts?
