Well because we hear the same thing season after season and we get that same season after season. I will not be positive about this organization until they show they deserve it. This whole damn season we have seen how bad the defense was and they did nothing. Its a BS excuse to say offense is easier to learn than defense. When they it probably be better to teach them defense first. Also, letting the kids just play obviously isn’t good and this game proves it. Young athletes need structure and the Sabres lack that. It’s improved in leaps and bounds from last year. Youth is not an “excuse.” It’s a fact. Reality. The vast majority of the team is not yet in their prime; not close. Most are 2-3 years away. But they do have a good deal of talent. They are in serious need of a strong, top 2, top 4 defenseman. And a two-way forward.
