Watcing Dach today...what exactly is Casey Mittelstadt and is worry creeping in

He’s invisible and not developing.  This team is brutal.  If I was Eichel I’d demand a trade.  The crap year after year...

I guess he's on pace for 30 points..it's funny that Sam is underrated, he had 47 in this year of his career.

Mitts is what his pre and post draft non NHL production suggests he should be

Risto and McCabe are out there with the Eichel line too often. That's not their job

They will never not be the face of this franchise, seemingly

Dach was a better prospect coming out.  Third pick in a rich draft.

Ya, but..I mean this is his D3 year, now..

Six in a row for Jack.

Eventually, someone else will score for the Sabres, right?!

So 8th overall strikes me as a little too high then. But it's still relatively early for him so that could change.

I don't really know what the players behind him are doing, but Mitts wasn't a reach at the time, as the draft wasn't super skilled up top.

The 2017 Draft wasn’t strong, but we will see what develops

Nothing about his high school production or his post-draft season in NCAA suggests that he would be producing a lot at a young age in the NHL. His college production in particular was pedestrian

Right I just think it's probably true that the hope for a player taken in the top 10 is generally a little higher than a 29 point pace D3. But not always I suppose.
