Rasmus has until April to work on his ranking here.  Would be nice to see him climb that ladder.

And look at Housley!  You now you did something right when you are ahead of Bobby Orr on any list of any kind!

Was forced to watch the Ducks broadcast and John Ahlers mispronouncing Dahl-IN all game... holy crap that was annoying.

Couple thoughts...

- Hope RJ is OK, just learning about this.

- Avg shot distance for the Ducks was 47ft.  32ft for BUF.  Nice job clearing rebounds and protecting the house by the D.

- That Skinner goal was ginormous.

- I like the energy Elie brings vs Pominville in the lineup.

I just don't like him

That's more valid than saying he's bad at PBP.  If you don't like him, you don't like him.  Done.

What's Orrs total points?

Dammit, Liger, you have as much access to Google as I do.  Come on. Use your noodle and your thumbs.  (Assuming @Taro Thasn't cut your thumbs off yet.)

Anyway:

Orr:  915 in 657 games.

Potvin:  1052 in 1060 games.

Dahlin will slot right between them.

Did Housley spend some of that time at center?  I know at some point he was moved off the blue line, I’m just not sure when.

It's a trade off.  Pommer is much slower, but much higher scoring acumen and hockey sense.  But in the "what have you done for me lately" department, the scoring has dropped off.

Hutts is making a lot of stupid handling mistakes lately

Agreed, but I like to think they can work on his decision making.  I think we are getting to a point where both goalies will get an equal share of starts; Linus is getting it done.  But I still think we'll see a stinker out of him once in a while.

Pilut has to stay up with the big club, correct?  He is top 6 worthy even when all the d-men are healthy.

He's a top 4 d-man on this team I think.  But he may still get sent down when all are healthy because he doesn't have to clear waivers.

I'd rather have Pilut up and trade either Bow-Lou or Nelson if necessary.

I tend to agree but if Beaulieu continues to have a good season he might be dealt as a rental at the trade deadline.  They might be able to get a better return for him if they wait.

My opinion of him has totally flipped this year.  He's been solid.

Also don't forget we have Hunwick as well.

If a playoff run is a possibility though, JBot probably wants all the D depth he can get.

I agree with the depth argument, but it will be at the detriment of the development of Pilut and maybe to the detriment of the team.  JBOT should run the team as a meritocracy.  Pilut is just better than Nelson and Beaulieu and Hunwick.

Another way the Berglund thing probably helps us then. It means we’ve got another roster spot to carry the extra defensemen while we sort out the logjam.

And count me in as someone who liked seeing Elie play tonight anyway.
