Yes, that was a missed call for sure, but shooting the puck over the glass from 100 feet away is just not something an NHL player should be doing. That was a bonehead play by Zemgus, but missing calls on The Canes and ruling an icing call when Criscuolo was clearly the first man back is just as bad. The only thing about that icing is that the puck was going around behind the net away from Crisco and toward where the Cane would be. Wow, Carolina was aloud to drive right through the front of the net untouched. Instead the Sabres are watching, poking at the puck, and nobody takes the body. Amazing.
