Indabuff Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 (edited) I could have sworn I saw XGMTM at the Gale Centre Arena today... Edited April 25 by Indabuff Quote
PASabreFan Posted April 28 Author Report Posted April 28 I'm not mad or freaked out, just curious how this happened: At work I was in a resident's apartment. She has a cell phone. A plush toy Charlie Brown had fallen behind her chair, so I retrieved it for her. I made a Good Grief joke, said that's Charlie Brown's luck and, after seeing her Peanuts calendar, asked her if she liked Peanuts (duh of course, it's just the small talk you make). I got home tonight and was perusing the YouTube app on my TV, and there's a show or documentary about how Charles Schultz created Peanuts. How in the world does that happen? P.S. my phone was outside the apartment and down the hall a short distance. Quote

In Ra-cha-cha they get turned into concert venues and restaurants. 😉 Well, the Main St. Armory is more a sports complex right now than a concert venue. Not sure they've had a concert there since that one in 2023 where 3 people died. I know it has a lot of volleyball going on as my daughter was there multiple nights per week over the winter. It's also still a complete craphole. 1 Quote
shrader Posted April 29 Report Posted April 29 There’s a local amber alert today that matches my wife’s car and our daughter. This should be fun. 1 Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 Just spent the last 2 days building 3 raised garden beds with 8ft 4x4 fence post. Laid chicken wire to the bottom for critter control and tilled up and mulched it all. Need to collect compost from the woods and then find some good topsoil to haul home. But holy hell, this crap is a ton of work. I've never really gardened or gotten into this stuff, but the front of the house had a 35ftx10 foot stretch of old overgrown garden that needed some serious tlc. Going to have an herb garden in one, veggies/fruit in another and flowers in the middle one. Hoping they all turn out as planned. 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Bud Light got hosed in Bud Bowl II. Budweiser fumbled the snap forward into the end zone as time expired and then recovered it for a game-winning TD. The Holy Roller rule in 1979 would've called that an incomplete pass in as would have applied in the 1989-1990 seasons when the game was produced, and today it could have been recovered, but not advanced beyond the spot of the fumble itself. Bud Light won that game. Am I the only one who gives a #### about the rules? 1 Quote
Night Train Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I can't believe anyone drinks any Bud beer product. It's only good for drowning slugs in your garden. Quote
shrader Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) My mother-in-law says that anytime you see a cardinal it's some dead relative stopping by. They're the state bird here in NC. The next time she visits, she's going to be so creeped out by the bird feeder I just put in. edit: And shortly after typing this, I look out my window and see 3 of them.
