I'm pretty sure the majority of suspected high stick goals are actually above the crossbar, but don't get overturned because of the optical illusion of the replays. Common sense here. Look how much the goalie has to bend down to get to crossbar height. Was Bogosian bent down that much? Someone tell me how there can be a first down line on the screen in football, but the NHL can't come up with a way to put a four-foot mark on replays?
