I'll be on the water at dawn tomorrow, 30 degrees, a bit of wind, and steelhead in the streams. Fly rods and willing trout. Therapy for a lousy year. Tight lines my brother. We all imbibed responsibly, left at a reasonable hour, and are going to breakfast right now at Louie's. In earlier years we'd all be extremely hungover or still drunk and breakfast would be more like lunch. I think I prefer this. I had an engagement party for the wedding I'm in tonight, and the grandmother of the groom told me all about the things we would do when we were younger that just blows my mind. Baseball with bees, and playing catch with a bow and arrow to name a few. Happy 2016 everyone, I hope your relationships stay strong, you make some new ones, and everyone stays healthy.
