Nah, has nothing with the butter to do, that is just so smoothen up some of the surface of the panny. Its the actuall wheatmeal (flour) that does it, together with milk and eggs. But should always be eaten warmed up, and dont warm it up in microwave, much more crispy if you heat it up in ur oven.
