He can skate and play defense and work his ass off, but I don't think his shot or passing or hands are much above average if at all; he just shoots so much that it eventually works. I love the guy, just. I think his shot is better than you're giving it credit for, but he's definitely more of a volume scorer than a precision/power guy. I think it's hard, and with the volume of shots plenty will pick corners, but I don't think it's anything special. Eichel should have 5 assists for him, but he doesn't seem to be able to pick spots like I believe, say, Ennis would in those situations. Maybe I'm full of though. I still am dreaming about that move Eichel made in Florida and Kane putting it right into the defender's shin pad instead of the gaping net.
