Zadorov always makes a great first play, but he doesn't always follow it up with a second or third play.

Pysyk is impressive.

It's the first time I've ever seen Armia play. like what I see.

Agree on all 3.

After first period I thought Detroit was caught flat footed. Took the Sabres lightly since they are dressing 5 AHLers. Now the second period is in the books, I think the young turks on the Sabres are playing good hockey and Detroit, getting a ton of shots, are rattled. Will the Sabres fade and lose like they did in Boston? I hope the youngsters keep up the strong play and win.

The Sabres really like to block shots. I don't remember seeing Roy or Pomminstein do too much of that. I like these Sabres better. More heart.

GMTM/Nolan Sabres are more motivated than Darcy/Lindy Sabres, for sure.

By the paddle of Enroth, by the glove of Neuvirth

I resemble that remark.

They've faced the backup goaltender in 8 of their 13 wins. Tonight would make it 9 of 14.

But not by Detroit's choice. Howard is injured.

Ristolainen with the save of the game right there.

Amazing stuff right there.

Paul Hamilton @pham1717

Zadorov is minus 8 in his last 5 games.

Uh oh...

Ain't skeered. There's been a lot of turmoil on the back line. He needs to see this and learn from it.
