dudacek
Mike Ramsey has to be in my top 10 list and the idea that anyone would pick Housley over him is a crime. It's like preferring Miro Satan over Jay McKee. No disrespect for Ted Darling, but picking an announcer half of you never heard over one of the two best Sabre defencemen of all-time? It's like preferring Miro Satan over Jay McKee. No disrespect for Ted Darling, but picking an announcer half of you never heard over one of the two best Sabre defencemen of all-time? I'm pretty sure I prefer Miro Satan over Jay McKee. Don't know why, just do. I'm choosing solely on who my favorite Sabres are, not on who was the best hockey player or who was best for the team? Eleven
Jay McKee was my favorite player during his entire tenure here.
Weave
Getting tough. Voting for personalities I actually like now. Hard to pull the trigger for guys I liked.

nfreeman
Jay McKee was my favorite player during his entire tenure here. He was high up on my list too. Thanks Darcy. Another brilliant move there.
darksabre
He was high up on my list too. Thanks Darcy. Another brilliant move there. Shipping out McKee and Dumont was almost worse than Drury/Briere.
Eleven
Shipping out McKee and Dumont was almost worse than Drury/Briere. Would the Sabres have been able to re-sign all of Miller, McKee, and Dumont and still be under the cap? I remember thinking that they couldn't. X. Benedict
He was high up on my list too. Thanks Darcy. Another brilliant move there. There were $16 million reasons not to sign McKee in the end. Can't blame him for walking for that kind of scratch.
dudacek
Out: Myers, Miller, Barnes, Briere, Housley and Darling In: Rick and the French Connection, the final adds Remember, three votes only please It's getting very tough. I'm voting for Luce because, steady as his was, he didn't bring the entertainment value the other guys up there do, Ray because as entertaining and committed as he was, he wasn't that good a player, and Knox because players rank higher than owners. Samson's Flow
I voted for May, Luce and Knox. Similar rationale as dudacek above. May partially because him being on the current broadcast team has annoyed me somewhat.
Eleven
Luce is safe with me right now because he signed my McDonald's breakfast napkin when I was 5 years old. But he's on thin ice.
Weave
I voted to get rid of the non-players. This is about the on ice product to me. And Drury. Respected him alot. Never had the love though.
Sabres Fan in NS
I also voted out the two remaining non-players and Girgs ... he is young, he can take it. Love his game, but not an all-time favourite yet.
BagBoy
Peca is the only non-generic Sabres jersey I own. I loved that guy, but when he held out it really rubbed me the wrong way.

I wonder if Peca could succeed in today's NHL. So much of his game was based on hits that are not legal anymore.

I always viewed thous hits as the sideshow to his game. the lightning strike of it.
