Winnipeg at Nashville - Keep an eye on Winnipeg, they are close enough to sneak in and are a +2 on the Sabres in ROWs. Pittsburgh at Ottawa - The Pens may be the best team in hockey, at that's without Crosby. With Crosby it seems almost unfair. A Sens loss gives the Sabres a chance to tie the, in pints. Rangers at Toronto - The game is important because the Rangers can be knocked out of the #1 seed by the Pens. Playing the Pens in the 1st round will be like being invited to a party by the hottest girl in school, showing up and getting your arce kicked and sent home in the first 5 minutes. Florida should feel pretty safe, 4 point lead with a game in hand and the Caps only have 7 games left. The Panthers have four winnable games coming up against the Islanders, Habs, Wild and Bluejackets. But it's still possible for Florida to pass Boston for 2, in which case I think getting to the 7th seed gives us the best chance to get out of the first round. Although, potentially losing to Florida in the first round would be one of the worst feelings ever, considering the climb from 15th place that we've made. Looks like we'll be tied again going into Tuesday's game. apparently they didn't even need the officials' help for the win. There was a ridiculous "delay of game" penalty called against the Wild in the 2nd period which resulted in the Caps second goal.
