  1. OK thanks! But I was looking this up and it had Ennis as a winger? Has he converted this season? So how do you guys see the top 6 for the playoffs this year? If Ennis is the best center, shouldn't he be on the top line with the best wingers? (Pominville, Vanek?) Would it be healthy for Roy & Cody to compete for the #2 spot? If you leave the Stafford/Ennis/Foligno line together, how do you get the Roy & Vanek line producing? Just curious.....
  2. How about a couple of goals? lol Oh but wait, there's more! :( Sulzer has a goal & 2 assists in Buffalo, while MAG has got...... squat. I still think the trade is a question mark (depends on how these 2 rookies develop) but right now it looks like the Sabres got the better deal, at least as scoring is concerned. The real problem in Vancouver was that CoHo couldn't expect to get more than 3rd line minutes for a few more years, and playing behind 2 top centers (Art Ross & Selke winning) he shouldn't really expect more. Turns out his father & agent were pestering the Canucks management about this, they were just surprised that the 'Nucks pulled the trigger this year. So if CoHo develops some chemistry with Stafford & Ennis (Leino?) you might have a solid second line. By the way, if Roy is #1 center, and CoHo is 2nd or 3rd, who is the other center? Is McCormick a 3rd or 4th line center?
  3. Meh, it was way overblown. A few punks busting windows, doing damage & such. It would be a total non-story if the mayor and cops had done their job. How would that look, to have a $1.5 mil rookie on the top line, and drop the $4 million dollar man (Roy) down the depth chart? maybe they want to showcase Roy? Maybe they they think he can turn Leino into a 10 goal scorer? :P Strangely, Sulzer was #8, behind Rome and Alberts up until Ballard (#5 depth) got injured. I don't know why the coach didn't play Sulzer more, Rome & Alberts were prone to bonehead plays, without the offensive upside of MAG. :wallbash: If MAG is still playing come playoff time, he'll likely need Ballard or Hamhuis to babysit him. Our GM pobably figured that MAG can be straightened out into a responsible D-man.
