The fourth line name would work for all the defensive pairings as well.

Quite a bit of turnover there. Don't know who Eller, Engqvist, Desharnais, and Palushaj are.

Eller was the key return from St. Louis in the Halak deal. That team does look a bit thin. Travis Moen on any of the top 3 lines?

Moen on the second line. That's like having Adam Mair in your top 6.

They are a mess right now.

They should still be able to put a good PP unit out there though.

What in the world has happened to the Habs? They are a high-revenue team, they spend to the cap, and that's their lineup? Yecccchh.

For the answer, see capgeek. They have blown a shocking amount of cash on Gomez ($7.36MM for 38 points last year), Cammalleri (who is a nice player, but is 5'9", gets hurt a lot, is 29 and has only exceeded 55 points once in his career), Markov, Cole and Spacek.

And Price, Subban and Gorges all need new contracts after this year. What a terribly managed payroll.

So Weber, Hecht, and Ellis are out and MAG remains in. It is game 5, I expect him to either start showing improvement against a physically weak Montreal Team or he needs to sit for a week or more.

Paging Tyler Ennis, the season started.

If Sabres can't win against Montreal I may cry
