Rest in peace Rick. Your voice of calling the Sabres and Pat Lafontaines goals is what I still remember to this day. At that time I was a teenager and really sucked up every little bit of NHL hockey which was shown in Germany and this was really really little at that time. Your voice nearly singing LalalaFontaine when he was scoring a goal is something to never forget. I really had hoped that you could see the Sabres winning a cup while being alive and maybe call a part of a game or so. I am really sad reading this news today and I wish the best to your family in this hard time and wish you the very best where ever you are.😢

The ugly thing is, that everyone on this forum wrote before the season, that with Hutton as backup for Ullmark we won‘t qualify for the playoffs. Only management has to take responsibility for this mess. They mishandled the goalie situation and fired Krueger far too late. It is such a shame! And when I think about that Ullmark is a UFA after the season, my head nearly explodes.

I agree, I expect several rfa to become ufas, because their team do not want to pay the settlement. Ullmark maybe one of them

Another wasted year with the team falling apart. Phil does not do it. He should have been gone earlier to try and save the season. I fear he stays and will only go after he messes up the start of next season.

We need a coach like Barry Trotz. A good experienced coach who can build and lead a team. I am getting sick of all the green horns not doing their job. I believe that this team can/must be better than this. Why should Skinner sign here? I am totally frustrated, because we lost 4 of 7 at home.

Ok this is my bracket. I have Boston over Winnipeg, but normally my Stanley Cup choice looses in first two rounds. I really don‘t want Boston to win, but somehow they are scary good right now.

I do not write much and read most of the time, but I need to write, that after all these tank seasons I am just shocked and incredibly sad how bad this team started. There is not much to feel good about. There is no chemistry, absolutly nothing and to make it worse a lot of brain farts defensively. It is just incredibly sad.

Do it, Kane for a suitable nr.3 or Kane+ for a suitable nr.2 and Vanek ( will get 3 mill per year x2) would be a win situation for us. Kane has big value because of his good season now.

XGMTM did a mess on the Reinhardt draft. Daisaitl is so much better, it really hurts as German Buffalo fan.

GAndalf for the rescue please. :) I am shocked about the firing of GMTm, although his comments during his prss conference were somehow giving me a bad feelng. I lked GMTM very much, he was refreshingly honest and straight forward. Bylsma was the issue,Babcock really screwed us, with him we would have been far better. Lets hope the next GM is a pro and understands the business.

He is 5 minutes late to a meeting, he had a clean slate before, was an excellent member of the team and gets punished like that. this is ridiculous, he is not a kid he is an adult This maybe cost us the game, so this stupid punsihment cost us 2 points. To have a coach team like that is sad. If GMTM supports this too, it is even more sad. Treat your players like kids and they will perform like kids. Why is DD not benched in the press room when he up ( and yes he did a lot this year)

So we are busting the outcome of this season again in the first half of it? I am just dissappointed, because we should be much better, but the playing style is so unspiring, especially if you loose. I do not want another tank, I want a team which plays attractive hockey and wins games. Detroit somehow wins games, although they should be worse.

Great post, but the offensive lineup is not better than those tank lineups we had two or three years ago
