Doing all the little things to make those around him more successful. His goals aren't there, but he plants himself in front of the net, makes the screens, makes sweet passes - just doing a lot of the grunt work that was missing from his game before. When Ruff teaches a pure goal scorer how to play a two way game all the Ruff haters say he ruined him. When the player turns into a great two way player Ruff rarely gets any credit.
