Apparently they outsource online orders to Indiana or something. Won't order from them again, sounds petty but over a week to even ship out the order is awful. I ordered some stuff from them recently. It ships through some random company I’ve never heard of. The timing wasn’t the quickest, but I’ve seen worse. I ordered an outdoor storage bin off of amazon. It took about a week to get here, which is fine, but one part was missing inside the box (there were two back walls instead of one front/one back). I had to wait 4 days to sort that out with their customer service because they use real people 4 days a week and an AI chatbot the others. That chat box was horrible so I had to wait for the real people. Now it’s another 7-10 business days to get that right part shipped. This is a million times more annoying than the bills store oddities. Quote

They're probably good for the "is your computer plugged in" wave of questions, or at least saving a human from having to deal with that one. I just wish they didn't give it a human name and try to pretend it's a real person. 1 1 Quote

French Collection Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Two and a half weeks post surgery. Feeling much better and I am able to take 1/2 golf swings. Another two and a half weeks for my follow up with the surgeon before I can play. The season is coming to a close but my reward for this patience is heading out to Cape Breton Island and playing Cabot Cliffs, the #1 rated course in Canada, in mid October. I will be rusty, but don’t care. 3 Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Just general muscle aches/soreness/tightness....father time has spoken, just trying to slow down the inevitable 😩😂 Been trying to swim a mile, 3 days a week since I can't really run/cycle with this calf thing. But mannnnn it's been a slog. 1 1 Quote
Taro T Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Hate the new electric rates that got approved fairly recently. Last month, 1/2 the bill was delivery charges. This month they're 60% of the bill. (Used to be more like 20% of the bill.) And NYS wants to force everybody to be 100% electric in the near future. New structures aren't going to be allowed to tap into the NG grid as of 2030. This rate structure is nucking futz. Quote

But mannnnn it's been a slog. I will tell you about muscle tightness. I am 67. I am battling a tight hamstring, sometimes it just gets stuck and it takes a long time for me to straighten out my leg. The area right behind the knee freezes up and the knee stays bent. Pain often moves to the hip and the glute/ piriformis. I had a full knee replacement 18 months ago and this problem has been on and off since "recovery". It started as a minor and occasional annoyance, I thought it would go away as I byuilt strenght and returned to my old ways. But instead it has increased in frequency and intensity in the past 6 months to were it is limiting me a lot. I am an active guy that has been on and off IR too many times in the past 3 months. My golf, the long walks, weight training, and gardening/yard work - all being compromised. I cannot ride a bike without the hammy tightening right under my knee. So I went back to the Orthopedic bone cutter. He sent me back to PT. I have been in PT for the past 4 weeks, it is slightly better but still not recovered. Still getting pain that moves from hammy, to hip to glute/piriformis. This sucks. My running days are over. Maybe I will try swimming since I can't take long walks and I need my cardio work? I will ask the PT lady what she thinks of that. I just don't want to get old and out of shape. I will take old and in shape if possible. Quote

Hmm the hamstring insertion goes into the popliteal area behind the knee. Ugh sorry to hear this. Quote

Easy for you to say. 😂 The area behind my knee tightens and freezes. And when that goes away it hurts my butt, deep behind the glute. I’ve tried all kinds of heat and stretching. Quote

Usually tightness indicates weakness in a muscle. Quote
