That one family member that thinks group text messages are the place to make passive aggressive political comments.... In said group chat, he's outnumbered 7 to 1 in political philosophy. No one ever engages him, but he still tries to rile everyone. I take no issue with his opposing views. He's not obnoxious whatsoever about them face to face, and we have some decent conversations. But get behind a 5.8 inch screen and he tries to jam it down your throat. Odd and annoying.

His father was a Soviet by birth and played most of his professional career in Russia. Perhaps Viktor was raised in Russia because of where his dad played? I really have no idea, this is just Wikipedia guessing... Vik chooses to play for the Russia National Team despite being born in Kazakhstan, whereas his father always represented Kazakhstan in international play.

Agreed: :w00t: This was good! That said, Stempniak is a player I'd love to have as a third line winger. He put up 40 points in 82 games last year. Hurt to begin this season, but has scored 4 points in 6 games. That's on a 2 year, $2.5M contract. UFA next year.

Nurse has a solid month and scores some PPP = “he’s better than Risto and we developed him perfectly!” Draisaitl has a huge playoff with a 27% SH% = “lets make him the 8th highest paid player in the league!!” One came from a sports writer. The other from Chiarelli :P

Nurse has looked really good over the last month. But before that, he was a dumpster fire. Risto’s production has dwarfed Nurse’s at every equivalent season of their NHL careers, and he’s still out producing him now. Seems like an overreaction based on one solid month of play. But hey, we are talking about the Oilers here ;)

I usually on chain pizza places. There were so many good local places up in WNY. I still have decent choices down here. You couldn’t catch me dead with a piece of Papa John’s in my mouth. But I actually like Pizza Hut. We get the $10 dinner box with breadsticks and cinnamon sticks. It’s good for days when you forget to defrost something for dinner.

I’m glad more and more people are finding this place :) My family is from that part of town. I’ve stopped in several times. I would keep going back even if their beer sucked just because I have a special connection to the owner/head brewer. But the beer is fantastic. Hoping they continue to build it out and add food options.

In the second period, absolutely. Try to score, get to the PP, add to the lead. But with 4 and change left, I LOVE that they killed clock. You add that keepaway time to the 2:00 PP and you eliminate damn near 75% of Vancouver’s comeback attempt* *assuming they don’t give up a shorty- not that they’ve been known to do that or anything

I think Bergeron is definitely in. He is already tied for most Selkes in NHL history. Still has plenty of years to break that record and stand alone. He's actually pacing for a career high in goals and points this year too. Cup win under his belt, obviously. I don't think anyone else is even a close to a sure thing. Getzlaf would be closest. Also a Cup win, closer to a PPG. But he's only ever broken 30 goals once. Surprisingly, Bergy has only made 2 ASG and Getzlaf has only made 3. Technically Burns was drafted as a winger ;)
