  1. It sounds like that inspection has really been wearing you down for awhile. Glad it's over and you passed!! Safe to say the long weekend is well deserved- enjoy :) I'll have to ask my wife about inspections. I haven't heard her mention one in her lab yet, but she just joined in the spring. Was yours imposed by the university? Or was this a state/federal thing that has to do with safety and/or funding?
  2. Anything is possible when your name is Wild Bill
  3. What do you use to capture the video? I tried to put a video up this morning for PA (and the masses that deserve to see this!) but it came out choppy. I record screen shares on Zoom for work, so I played back the game and recorded my screen that way. But it wasn't nearly good enough to share.
  4. Hey, we have some doctors that post on here. Bogo is great for job security.
  5. That was a beauty. Reminds me of Jack’s OT winner against Carolina. Speed to get the goalie moving, backhand five hole to make the goalie look like a fool!
  6. The irony of delaying the game to review a delay of game... :P
  7. Both guys have played 48 games this year. 16 G ~ 20 A ~ 8 PPP ~ 188 SOG ~ 19:29 ATOI ~ -11 +/- 14 G ~ 21 A ~ 14 PPP ~ 96 SOG ~ 14:07 ATOI ~ -14 +/- This one probably isn't too hard to guess...
  8. I started the "comparison" for the very reasons you listed. Someone mentioned that there was "NFW" that Sam would get $3M AAV. I said that Foligno got almost $3M for being a drastically inferior player with a significantly lower ceiling.
  9. Decent discussion re: ROR for Hanifin over on HFBoards. It's mostly Canes fans saying no. Surprisingly it isn't ROR's cap hit, but rather his 2-way game that dissuades them. They want an offensive-minded gunner to play alongside Skinner. Defensive responsibility be damned! What says you, Sabres fans?
  10. Man, could you imagine being Risto on the peeper? Jack’s one-timer to his left, Hoffman’s one-timer to his right. He should trail only Karlsson in assists :P
  11. 19 points in 48 games is a 32 point pace. The $100K/point rule checks out at $3M. Our old pal Marcus Foligno got 4x$2.875 from Minnesota with a career high of 23 points. 32 would be Sam's career low. He's been a huge disappointment this year, yes, but $3M is fair as hell.
  12. I don't know, I think it was well written :P
  13. Ideally Risto needs to skate under 5 minuets here in the third. He’s already pushing 20min after 32 last night.
  14. We should lose 7-1 to Dallas more often.... This is awesome
  15. PPG for Eichel!! May he never drop below again in his career :D
  16. Let’s go with your story.. mine is from fantasy hockey blurbs :P I figured it also had to do with Klefbom’s struggles this year.
  17. Darnell Nurse has been playing really well lately. Picking up the offense, so much so that he was promoted to PP1 unit. He went one pick before we took Risto in ‘13.
  18. 10 points in his last 10 games for Risto. 10 points over the last 6 for Jack.
  19. I'm an out-of-towner, so I watch all games through NHL.tv I usually sign in through my xbox and watch on my TV. But for the late games, the NHL app provides a surprisingly stellar picture on my phone or iPad.
  20. I will watch the game on my phone from bed. When I do this, I usually fall asleep during intermissions because they’re so boring. But these days, I might just fall asleep during gameplay :P If Eichel isn’t on the ice, they’re a great sleep aid
  21. My vote is for the Seattle Amazons.. They were warriors, so a fitting team name. Obviously would also pay homage to Seattle’s Amazon HQ. Plus, a one-breasted warrior would make for an awesome logo. I think I’m joking. But maybe not :P
  22. They are okay if they are filled with beef and rice and beans and hot sauce. I am talking about a burrito.
  23. Born in Pennsylvania, my captain could wear the C in probably any state or city. He has greasy, slicked back hair. There is a simplicity to his game, but it is still miraculously well-rounded and delightful. His go-to shootout move is top cheese. Plays best with a basket of fries on his wing. Philly cheese steak (still no mushrooms ????)
  24. 160 games played is when waiver eligibility kicks in, right? Both Sam and Nathan eclipsed that mark last year. I think it could do Sam a lot of good, but you’re right- no way he clears waivers. Many teams would take a shot.
  25. Could I ever switch from the Sabres? No, but I was born and raised in WNY, saw my first hockey game at KBC, got engaged at Harbor Center, etc... But since moving to Columbus, I’ve definitely taken a liking to the Jackets. I own CBJ gear, I go to a few games, and I root for them in the playoffs since Buffalo sure as hell isn't there! I watch every single Sabres game each year, probably watch 25-30 CBJ games a year. If you ask me my rooting allegiance, it is 100% Buffalo. But I don’t see any problem rooting for multiple teams. It depends what you want to get out of sports. If you want joy and entertainment, and rooting for another team will bring you more joy and entertainment, then why not!? Especially if you can catch games in person in Vegas. And if you live in the Vancouver area, VGK should play there more often as a divisional opponent. I love sports’ ability to bring people together. If the Knights would give you and your wife something to enjoy together, what are you waiting for? :)
