+1, we don't need a player with leadership qualities. O'Reilly already has the offseason warrior motif. They are both the same age, and O'Reilly has never had a major injury. I would be very wary of the injury. But, it is Stamkos.

Kadri's extension is a laugh. Enjoy that being sour after season two of the extension. The guy is as overrated as they come.

I put him in the mold of Andrew Shaw. He might easily be better than that, but I wanted to remain realistic.

Brian Gionta in the third, reminded me of his 48 goal season in NJ. So impressive. I've never thought he was out of place on this team, just needed to be a lower line guy.

This was very well written. To me it started at the draft. Getting Eichel and Ryan O'Reilly was the start of a strong center group. While there have been ups and downs in Jacks defensive game, he got harder to play against as the season went on. O'Reilly taking Sam under his wing and teaching him how to prepare and being humble in everything he does. The improvement of Sam Reinhart around the net, getting faster, improved poise showed each and every game he played in the top six. Evander Kane provided swag and his tough work throughout every shift gave the team the rub they needed with self confidence. The Eichel swoop around Boone Jenner signifies the season to me. In that you needed the creativity and skill to push the team over the top. Also our goal tending between Ullmark, Johnson and Lehner were keeping us in games.

Wow, I was completely unaware of this. I was busy with moving in to our new apartment with my GF, so I only saw the sparring highlights. That is very disheartening on fan appreciation night of all nights. Kasdorf had a tough assignment. As usual the CBJ are healthier in the second half and playing much better hockey....with 2 games to play!

Nominated for the Hobey Baker last season and had a heck of a season with BC. He's a quality prospect. They have no say. He's a four year senior and can opt for UFA status.

I would be honest and say that the best offer is like a fourth or fifth round pick.

Muzzin isn't worthy of the number one pick without having a top 7 pick coming back. I don't bite on that at all. If Montreal wants to send their best skater to Buffalo by all means. I'd love to have PK Subban as a Sabre. The dude is amazing. I would rather have PK Subban than Steven Stamkos.

It's a great feeling. All the guys are stepping up. Larsson, Foligno, DLo, Bogosian, Pysyk, are stepping it up lately. A LHD is a great add for the team in the draft, unless a lottery pick win, who knows. It's nice to see Hudson come in and do that. Nelson has some skill. Now if we can get rid of Moulson!
