  1. Jack Eichel you're on notice for being 18...and fans not realizing that you're still over extending in certain aspects of your game. Oh there are O'Reilly haters from other franchises. On other sites its pretty evident :D
  2. I'm not saying that Moulson is a bad player. The speed is lacking in his game, which unfortunately is a disservice to his ability when putting him with Eichel or O'Reilly in my opinion. He should be playing with someone consistently. Instead of all this line jumbling. Disco Dan is known for his "dancing his lines". I never noticed that when he coached Pittsburgh, though admittedly I loathe that franchise.
  3. The games are very enjoyable to say the least. Can we make a fantasy trade and add someone with more grit and speed than Moulson?!? One can only hope. We need to get Bogosian back into the line up as soon as possible!
  4. The only things I would switch is to put Zemgus and Larsson in the Like and Carlo in the Hate. Ryan O'Reilly's haters before this season can eat a giant can of ***** fill in whatever word you'd like. He's already the heart and soul of this team. Ristolainen played a heck of a game and for a change I didn't hate Legwand's play. I liked Deslauriers and McGinn has gotten his act together. It was much tighter than I thought it would be. 51 to 29 SOG, is quite a nice stat, though it was in a loss. Kane's injury sucks. I want to see less of Moulson/Gionta and more of the grit and speed. This season has been so much more enjoyable than last year.
  5. Fair enough, lol. That was one hell of a sequence for him for sure!
  6. Johnson with the save of the game after the bad match up with Deslauriers taking a draw. LOL
  7. Johnson is looking very Ryan Milleresque. Eichel looks amazing sometimes, but he looks so young in his own zone.
  8. Ugh Moulson, hooking.....really. Lame. Terrible passing so far tonight.
  9. Eichel with two goals tonight.
  10. Great job! I like the straight forwardness of it!
  11. It's time for Eiceinsson to dominate! Get at it, boys! I am so going to watch this game! Eichel v Giroux! I love it!
  12. Not sure if this was posted somewhere. http://www.thehockeynews.com/blog/i-asked-for-trade-every-off-season-in-winnipeg-evander-kane/
  13. Poile is such a savvy GM. Ekholm gets extended at the right cost and keeps this team's defense stacked for years to come.
  14. He could still develop (Hurley), some players take four years of college to develop properly. It's not an encouraging pick, but honestly the worst pick so far has been Cornel to me. I'm baffled by that selection. Olofsson and Possler may have more upside than Bailey and Baptiste. (Still too early to tell).
  15. +1 On Eichel. Pysyk is NOT on the same level of talent as Reinhart.
  16. Via Corey Pronmon on Twitter This is alone something to be somewhat optimistic about. The Sabres have out shot their opponents in 6 of 8 games. It's taking the little things out of life!
  17. It looked like a pull, but it could be the classic "LBI", week to week nonsense. When he got up and at least was skating on it with even the slightest strength, my stomach unhinged at least 20% lighter. Still a major disheartening moment.
  18. That thing is hideous.
  19. I really don't see it being feasible. While Stamkos is an elite player and someone that you can instantly sell your fan base on, the depth in the system isn't that which can afford giving up higher end assets. Reinhart, Eichel and Ristolainen should be untouchable. So unless the group of Ennis, O'Reilly or someone in that range as a center piece makes sense I doubt it happens. You are probably better off trying to get him in UFA than you are in a trade offer. Keeping the first round pick is also important as the team continues to build around the core group. Stamkos is great, and only 25, but I'd personally rather trade for a Drew Doughty, Seth Jones, Roman Josi, type. Someone who is in their prime or near prime that will both fill the void at elite puck handling and provide stalwart defense on the back end. Chicago needs Toews and Kane, but would not have won if they did not have Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook. Call me crazy, but I would gladly take the next Hedman before I would take the next Stamkos.
  20. Keep feeding O'Reilly and Eichel the puck, and continued improvement from Reinhart! More McCabe/Pysyk and less Weber and Franson!
  21. Very well said X. We're competing, but still a step behind the elite teams. The defense is still a bit behind the mark of course. You cannot fault Murray and Bylsma too much for that. You can only fix so much within one off-season. Just keep going!
  22. It's still early enough in the year to not really worry about this. The team is playing much better than they were last year. The team has expectations again, but you don't go from 30th in almost every category to a playoff team IMO. They are playing in a new structure and with the fluidity of the lines and changes that Bylsma is structuring it is understandable for a lack of knowing where players are on the ice. However, I really do find it comforting that they are trying new schemes within the structure to make things spark. Too many times last year were players in one role and not diversifying. GO SABRES!
  23. Time to waive Johnson and sign Martin Biron.
  24. Gorgeous feed to Moulson!
