This is factually incorrect. The comprehensive bill proposed but not brought to a vote has no amnesty. It has a path to citizenship. If they don't have a criminal record, pay back taxes and a fine, they are put at the back of the line for citizenship, but are allowed to stay as legally documented non-citizens. Quite different than the Reagan amnesty.

It's Obama and the Democrats who want to change the status quo by passing comprehensive immigration reform.
