Perhaps the poll should have been favorite Sabre by decade, to allow people to skip decades they didn't see.
-
How can anyone vote for someone who wanted to be traded over the original and career Sabre? Sacrilege.

Grigo-Armia-Stewart; The GAS line.

Rhuedel got hurt in Amerks game.

No fence, trained sharks patrolling a mile off shore. With lasers. This is going to be great for car collectors who want to buy and restore vintage cars from Cuba. I imagine a new show on Discovery Channel.

I was in a hurry this morning, and after I got to work I realized I put my underwear on inside out. Too late to fix it now.

GMTM should embarrass Darcy into getting Arizona to trade for him. Offer him for a minor leaguer or low round pick. Say that Darcy thought he was good enough for a big contract, let him put up now.

I would rather watch an underperforming Stewart than a regular performing Hodgson or Stafford.
-
I wouldn't want to force other fans to have to watch this team. It's enough that we're stuck watching them.

The primary blame goes to the parents. Where's your kid, what's he doing, who's he hanging out with? Who bought the kid the BB gun, and then left him unsupervised with the gun that had the orange part removed so it looked like a real gun? And I'm not talking race, you are. The same common sense applies to all parents. I'm talking about high school, which everyone has access to. And there are financial options for the poor to go to college that aren't available to well off families. I came from middle class and found a way through financial aid and scholarships. It's a matter of priorities and sacrifice.

Oh I understand, you want to blame the people who protect the vast majority of us and the laws that have been enacted by our elected officials, instead of the people who commit crimes that create the confrontations with police. Don't steal from a store, no confrontation. Don't walk in the middle of the road, no confrontation. Don't sell products illegally, no confrontation. Don't display a gun in public that looks like a real gun, no confrontation. Those are some of the common sense steps that prevent ever interacting with the police. Stay in school, take education seriously, don't get pregnant before you can be responsible, and don't break the law are the simple life rules that will get people out of the cycle of poverty. Try protesting over the root causes than the protests over the end results.

I could see a preseason game, but regular season would be a money loser given the smaller capacity.

I feel bad for the Florida players since there'll probably be more Sabres fans at the game than Panthers. But unlike when Toronto plays in Buffalo, the majority of seats will be empty. I wish Bettman would give up already and let them move to Quebec. If they or Arizona get the first draft pick, you'll know the fix is in to boost attendance.
-
I think breaking the law is a very good reason for being arrested, which were the reasons for police involvement in these situations. If you don't think the laws are 'a good reason', then organize people to vote for change. But until such time, if you break the laws you disagree with, be prepared to be arrested.

Now it's getting rediculous. This "kid" was 34 years old! It wasn't a gang member coming after him, it was a police officer coming to question him. Stop blaming the police for the bad decisions these criminals make.
-
Of course you didn't point out what preceded: "When the officer told the driver, later identified as Brisbon, to show his hands, the driver instead put his hands into the waistband of his pants, at which point the officer drew his gun, Crump said. Brisbon began to run away, but the officer chased him down, and they began struggling, Crump said." You want the police to wait until they're shot before they decide if the person has a gun? Once again, if the person shot just followed instructions it wouldn't have escalated.

Do you have proof that the DA in either case withheld evidence? The DA in Ferguson went out of his way to make sure the public knew what evidence was presented.
-
Hogwash. These cases went to grand juries, a group of citizens, not police, to determine if there was sufficient reason to go to trial. The same process applies to all regardless of race. Just because you don't like their conclusion you say it's not fair.
-
Since he's a veteran, it's more likely he plays for Amerks and they send Lieuwen down to Elmira to get his confidence back.
-
Blocking traffic because you disagree with a multi-racial grand jury's decision is a sure way to make people less sympathetic. I'd like to know how many of these protesters actually show up when it counts and vote in elections.
-
Obviously it wasn't enough to indict, because the multi-racial grand jury decided it wasn't.

It will all be explained in the new Star Wars movies.

The danger is there will be a backlash from the "Jesus rode a dinosaur" people who would take us back to the Dark Ages.

The solution would be to take the kids away from their parents and place them in boarding schools. But that would require changing the threshold of what an 'unfit household' is, and that would be fought by the ACLU. I don't see a solution unless the parenting improves. For comparison I look at the Asian refugees who have come to the US with nothing but a work ethic and discipline. Their children, many of whom go to inner city schools, still do well and go on to successful careers.
