Actually watching this one. We’re in a quiet little brewery that has the game on, so I am watching. This team is just 0.5-1 sec slower with puck decisions than StL. And its killing us. I see enough talent, enough speed. I see slight hesitation with every frickin puck decision, and it is nearly 100% of the difference, powerplay and 5vs5.

Yeah, I had a similar though. Has leadership determined that the 25 yr olds on the team don’t match their timeline? Its not much of a leap of logic to consider that the current core isn’t making enough of a difference and the next core might be determined to be the difference makers. Man, I absolutely hate that the premise even entered my head. I hope it hasn’t entered KAs. For all the energy given to the conversations regarding moving on from Jack and Sam, I think the most compelling reason is that they simply didn’t fit KAs timeline. Plausible that Mitts doesn’t fit a new timeline given the core not getting it done when the pressure was on.

It was not obvious to me that blue on the left is max density and red on the right is max density. Maybe my brain cramped over one side being left justified and the other being right justified. Not discounting the possibility that it is only difficult for me. Lol

Then I don’t understand that graphic at all. If the colors on the left indicate higher density, then your observation would be corroborated, but generally, colder colors indicate lower density. WTF happened to adding legends to charts, anyway?
