  1. Get them sumbitches covered in cracked pepper and on the smoker for pastrami.
  2. Would be so much more appropriate.....
  3. I miss the boxes of Troyer Farms chips with two bags in them.
  4. Boy, you aren't kidding. It's hitting me harder as this thing progresses. I'm not happy with my current situation but damn am I glad I have it right now.
  5. We cooked for the week this morning. A big pot of jambalaya, A tray of meatballs, sirloin tips in gravy, and we'll do takeout Wednesday and Friday. And now..... we drink. Milagro reposado with a squeeze of lime juice. Rocks.
  6. It made the little French girls prissy and the Irish girls tenacious. ❤️
  7. Right up there with Perreault.
  8. I don't mind the texture, but its not my first choice. I'm a sucker for crinkle cuts. Not brand fussy.
  9. Yeah, it shouldn't be close. Those two should be head and shoulders above the competition.
  10. Love ramen. Not the box kind. The kind that starts with boxed ramen noodles but goes into homemade broth, and a bunch of good stuff. We've been doing our best to make sure the local joints don't fail during all this. Take out 2x week. Today was hot italian sausage sandwich and a small beef on weck pizza.
  11. Read up on germinating lilly seeds. They may need to go through a cold cycle to germinate.
  12. If it weren't for his predisposition to get concussed I would have went for LaLa here. He had concussion problems when he first came into the league, so IMO they have to be taken into consideration. He was not concussion free at any point in his career. IMO it was the only flaw he had. I think jack is approaching LaLa, but isn't there yet. And there is no guarantee he gets there. Likely, but no guarantee. He'll be our 2nd best center in franchise history, because I predict he most likely will surpass LaFontaine in sheer talent and ability. I don't think he rises to Perreault level when his career ends.
  13. The only issue that I am aware of that you might find with planting seeds from an edible product is often the plants that produce the edible product are 1st gen crosses, and while they get the flavor, etc traits form the cross, the genetic result in their seeds may not give you the same product when you plant it. You may end up with one of the base plants that made the cross. Happens with hot peppers all the time. Some of those peppers are 1st gen crosses and when you plant the seeds from them you get one of the base plants that produced the cross. But it'll be a cool experiment.
  14. I appreciated his work alot more than most around here. I'll miss it.
  15. Just the tone that I am perceiving in those replies.
  16. I'm more with Freeman than with dudacek here. I'd be very surprised (pleasantly) if Casey were a competent NHLer next season. I would not agree with any plan that didn't have Casey as the plan "B" for whatever role on the team. I think you need to plan for his not making it and adjust if he surprises you, as opposed to planning he makes it and adjusting if he doesn't. Cuz I think the odds are he's not made it yet at the start of the season.
  17. You might be on to something here.......
  18. I mentioned the holes that needed filling to justify it. I also said I couldn't justify it readily because we are moving a postion of dearth. You're cranky about this *****. Relax. It's jsut anti-Covid banter.
  19. And that’s a valid opinion. And would have been a valid response to my entire post, as opposed to singling out one portion of the deal as if that was the whole deal.
  20. Sure, if that was all I suggested in the trade, I agree.
  21. What if we could plug every hole (including 1C) by moving him? And those holes would only get get plugged over the course of an additional 2+ seasons any other way?
  22. This is the bottom line for me. If one of them is ready, awesome. But the team would be rolling the dice yet again to count on it. I’m not in the mood for another dice roll.
  23. Was Forsberg even as good as the other center on his team? And was Sakic better than Lindros? Boy, its close for me. Lindros had every bit the impact on his team. He didn’t have the depth of talent Colorado had. To move Eichel I’d need to have a middle of the pack 1C, middle of the pack 2C, top 1/3 goalie, plus, plus coming back. I cannot justify it as readily as I can a Dahlin trade, mostly because we are trading from a position of dearth and not a position of depth.
  24. We walk every night. From about 7-5 I am online mostly communicating via webex with customers and colleagues. It’s a dreary 7-5.
