See, I think a Risto needs a proper development curve more than a Mule. Risto’s weaknesses beg for a proper development. He would have benefited more from it than a Mule, because he doesn’t have the inherent instincts that Mule seems to have.

It really comes down to risk tolerance. And there is a price for waiting. If you play it safe and wait to see if the performance repeats it will surely cost you more. If you make a projection and your experts believe that projection is the most likely scenario you get that contract done sooner, and likely at a better value. Waiting until mid way through the season gives TT more leverage. If you trust your evaluation you have to ride with it.

I was 10 when Star Wars showed up in theaters and became a sensation. I’m still a sucker for Star Wars live action stuff. I enjoyed the Obi Wan Kenobi series. And I agree, that episode 6 fight was terrific. The series made up for the disappointing Boba Fett series. And now I anxiously await the next season of The Mandalorian.

Consider there are fewer than 30 people qualified to be a #1 C in the NHL. Is it all that far fetched to think that people qualified to be good coaches at the same level are equally rare?

I didn’t used to feel that way, but I have now for most of the past decade. Its downright weird they do this for sporting events. They don’t play it before concerts, plays, movies, or most other entertainment.

Fishy enough that I wouldn’t give my address. I had a similat experience a couple weeks ago selling lawn furniture. Someone with an off profile that wanted to pay in advance and pick up the next day. I asked how they intended to pay me and they stated an app that I am not at all familiar with. I told them I wasn’t going to sign up for an app for a 1 time transaction and I never heard from them again. I figure it was 75% likely to be a scam. The next person to contact me was told cash. Period. Made the sale in 30 minutes.

I do like the idea of VO and a goalie prospect that doesn’t want to be in Buffalo for 1 year of a playoff tested vet that can still bring it at a high level. But I hate the idea of rewarding Kane by bringing him home to end his career.
