I don’t know lnow how you’d measure a break out season by Samuelsson, but I think he’s most likely to have his development really escalate.

I haven’t seen or heard any of the interviews/pressers. Thats interesting. Zemgus wasn’t deployed much at center last season from what I recall.

I’ve often thought, and said, that once you hit director level you have to have some sociopathic tendencies. You have to not be aware of or feel empathy regarding your impact on the people below you in the organization.

Of the young guns, I think he has the lowest ceiling. Wouldn’t be surprised if Brian Holzinger is his comparable when he is mid career. And that’s not damning criticism. They can’t all be stars.

I’m not sure we’ll see Girgs at center again unless it is as an injury fill in.

You and I may be the only two here that see a young, talented player being moved out. I’m not predicting Mitts, but I think he’s a compelling player to be moved candidate. Absolutely noone in here is working a vendetta, or saying he’s a bust or anything. Just stating opinion that he’s a candidate for a bonafide hockey trade.

He’ll get the less flashy wingers and won’t get 2nd lone center points, but his continued development will be obvious.
