My recollection was most noted a difference in Dahlin shortly after the all star game. Lots of discussion around Hedman talking to Dahlin during all star weekend and Dahlin came back a force. Would love to know what Hedman told Dahlin.

The worst part is, when you get to the hospital, they are more worried about testing to see if you’ve had a stroke than they are about the hand. Honest, I just slipped. Its not a stroke!

Our forward depth is a raw rook that is getting sat, Sheahen (sp?) and then Bjork. Thats not depth.

I think we are running circles around teams is because they are not in “in season” mode yet. We won’t have the space we currently do very shortly, and those odd man rushes we are giving up way too often are going to result in more scores against as our goaltending levels out.

Wake and bake?

Early part of the season is always a little more lucy-goosey. Teams will be tightening up over the next few weeks. What they look like now won’t be sustainable come Thanksgiving. Lets see how well they tighten things up in November.

For late games I have to rely on Twitter for highlights. The normal crew I follow for Sabres Twitter stuff has let me down. Lots of clips of Tuch’s hattie goals. Lots of mentions of Dahlin’s record goal, but no clips. Passing mention of Mitts shortie but no clips. And a mystery goal apparently as that’s only 5. I guess I am following the wrong accounts. We’ll see them all once the game highlights are on YouTube I suppose.
