  1. There is total agreement among KA, Brisson, and Johnny on the most critical aspect of the situation and that is that he’s a star player worthy of a large return on the trade market. I mean, if we asked Brisson and Johnny, wouldn’t they have to agree? Would Brisson admit to representing a lesser player? Would Johnny admit he’s just not that good? I doubt it. KA’s high ask is simply a reflection of Johnny’s perceived worth among all parties involved and the rest of the league knows that as well.
  2. He also seems to be requiring “proof” to refute the claims of misinformation. Classic. Anyway, I’m out, but I appreciate your sanity regarding this issue.
  3. His agent’s statement aside, I’m convinced team Eichel has NO desire to get traded at this point. They are playing the long game until his NMC kicks in and he has more control over who he is traded to. What else explains why team Eichel has deliberately been sabotaging his trade value the entire time? He’s gonna get the surgery, sit out the year, collect his 10 mil, and wait it out. Kevyn Adams has flaws as a GM, but his handling of the Eichel trade situation isn’t one of them. I’m glad he’s sticking to his guns on this issue. F Jack Eichel.
  4. No, points don’t tell the whole story for D men. Far from it. And yet, three of the four comparisons made are to forwards. It’s a ludicrous comparison.
  5. According the NHL.com, the Kraken home opener is vs. the Canucks on 10/23.
  6. Beasley has company on the Bills. They wouldn’t let this be posted on TSW at TBD so I thought I’d post it here. I think it’s important for people to know how F ing stupid some players are and how dangerous their mis-information can be. Shameful.
  7. While I haven’t enjoyed being an active member of this forum for years now, someone pointed out this post and after reading it, I see why. This is simply an outstanding take on the situation. Well done. As for Eichel, he flat out misrepresented the “disconnect” over the injury situation. His OWN second opinion doctors agreed with the prescribed conservative 12 week rehab, which we are still in the window of, taking new images after that, and then proceeding accordingly. Not surprising since most in the medical profession adhere to “best practices” protocols. I’ve long suspected Eichel was a born and raised Bruin fan who never embraced playing in a city for a team he despised as a kid. His bullcrap the other day is an embarrassment. And while the entire organization is an embarrassment at the moment, that at least has the potential to be fixed. Eichel will always be the entitled masshole that he is. Yes, he’s a great player and yes we will be worse without him, but we won’t/can’t be any worse than where are now. As good a player as he is, if he doesn’t want to be here, none of that matters.

  14. I think some do want that, unfortunately. Witness doohickie's response. I'm with JJ.
  15. I remember posts about the tank making there way into all sorts of GDTs that year. I don't remember GDTs being summarily deleted because of it. Nobody likes being condescended to and relegated to other forums because moderators don't agree with certain viewpoints as seems to be the case around here lately.
  16. Factoring the 6 we scored vs. Edmonton in our second game of the season, 20% of our goals occurred on two nights.
  17. I'm officially hanging my hat on this hook of hope.
  18. Agree. We got off to a good start with Jack back in beating Ottawa and the Rags, but we lost that ground by losing to the Bruins and the Caps twice since. And even though he's in the lineup again, I don't think he's really "back" in the truest sense of the word.
  19. This is the type of game the Sabres win while those more important games vs. division and conference opponents are lost.
