  1. I don't think they'll do anything else with it, which is a shame. The town didn't really show any signs of being attacked by living people, so I get the impression that they won't do anything else with it storyline-wise.
  2. How is Leino doing?
  3. Notre Dame doesn't have a very good team this year (sorry Glass). They're very young right now, essentially in the middle of a rebuild. Give him some time.
  4. She can sleep on the first floor. Maximize the distance.
  5. We signed the contract over the weekend! Goodbye bank account.
  6. You're not alone and I get the feeling that most agree. He has been deadweight this entire season. My brother got home late and was watching the show on a ten or so minute delay. He texted me early saying "Tyreese really needs to die". Seconds after I read this, he got bit. It was the best timing ever. The episode itself was pretty good though, especially with the payoff of him being gone. The hallucination stuff was an interesting route to take. I'm also glad that he wound up dying in fairly pathetic fashion, being unsuspectingly bitten by a teenage walker. Perfect ending to a waste of a character. Oh, and I enjoyed the comic relief of the rebar walker. For once the kitana isn't the perfect weapon.
  7. That is the real issue here. The pictures don't mean a thing. I do t know if any of the reasons for the rift with teammates have come out, but you better believe that other players and GMs are aware of some of it. Whatever the reasons are, they're are definitely red flags here. As for the comparisons of the Kanes, I don't recall ever hearing stories that the entire Chicago roster had turned on Pat. That's the big difference.
  8. When you are trying to assemble a very young team, Kane's baggage could be lethal.
  9. One game? That's some NHL-level disciplinary action right there.
  10. I wonder about his age a bit. I really don't know the average age of guards, but he is on the wrong side of 30. I guess he does have one less year on his tires though thanks to last season. I'm sure it'll be a very cheap contract too.
  11. How much does our trade history really matter though? If I have the timeline correct, the relevant Sabres trade history today starts with the Miller trade. There isn't much out there to evaluate Tim Murray's ability to make trades.
  12. Carp, have you considered removing the x-axis from your new chart? It can be a bit cluttered with the team logos, the dotted line and the axis.
  13. I'd imagine he's been playing through something that eventually needed repair. Now that it's hit the fan, both sides say screw it, get the surgery done so he can be kept out of the locker room.
  14. I can't imagine the Ducks being too crazy to trade Gibson. We are a year or two removed from all the talk about how they are ridiculously deep at goalie with Hiller, Fasth, Anderson, and Gibson all in the system. Fast-forward to any deal like this and suddenly 3 of the 4 are gone and they're down to a Bryzgalov/LaBarbera combo in their 2nd and 3rd slots. It kind of reminds me of the Vancouver approach of "hey, let's get rid of all of our goalies".
  15. You don't think that the guy who openly stated that the fans were going to have to deal with some suffering wasn't on board with tanking?
  16. Maybe the weasel is digging a series of tunnels below the Sabres tank as an act of sabotage. He's like a modern day Caddyshack gopher. Cue up the Kenny Loggins.
  17. Didn't you hear? He's too busy secretly running the Coyotes all while rigging the lottery machine.
  18. I will have two women living in my home for nine months if the wife ever gets pregnant.
  19. Do people even realize what an assistant GM does? How is a glorified scout going to orchestrate the downfall of an entire organization, especially in less than one year? This whole idea really needs to go away.
  20. Don't worry. They'll pull the usual Kings move and squeak into the playoffs.
  21. Yeah, but it was one of those ankle deep kiddie pools.
  22. Mini-Ditka?
  23. I said that exactly to my wife yesterday. "Does she want to cover the difference if we wait?" This one would be built from scratch but we have seen the exact house, so we know what to expect. We've been to the development, we've seen the actual plot of land (and a few others available). I see no reason to question the builder as they are one of the larger ones in the country and my brother has had dealings with them through work (granted he is in Florida). Our realtor has also not had anything bad to say about them, but in the past she has shared information on others.
  24. That and he just turned 20 in December and is in his first season of professional hockey. Our idea of prospect development has become so warped in recent years if we are going to be in panic mode already over Carrier.
