The thread has been great and all and I'm glad Taro started it. Let's face it though, like you just suggested, reversing the standings isn't exactly the most revolutionary development of the past century. I can't imagine the site in question had all that many readers anyway, well, at least until it was linked in here.

Eichel and Greenway would be an interesting combination... Not that they'll actually play together at BU
-
A statement like that wouldn't surprise me actually. I picture Madison area people having a very similar mindset to those in buffalo

Don't worry, we will just create a new scenario to be paranoid about. Like how McDavid will refuse to sign and re-enter the draft in 2017... Where we will be drafting first all over again and he will sit out two more years to become a UFA
-
At that point he would be too old for the draft and would be a free agent. There is one scenario which would involve him jumping to major junior right now and I'm not sure if even Q rules would allow that jump this late in the year. That's not happening.
-
Jack Eichel CANNOT re-enter the draft. Let's throw out that idea right away. That is a scenario that is not possible for an NCAA player.
-
Right, but when the teams above them trade their pick, it isn't one which will have a small percentage shot at McDavid, which I thought was the purpose of the current discussion. Maybe I'm over-reading on that one though.

Fortunately things have tightened up a bit. A week or two ago, it looked like there would be no race whatsoever for the last few spots. Now Boston's gone cold and Florida (also gone cold) and Philly at least belong in the conversation. Minnesota and LA are in play out west. So maybe one of those 4-6 teams consider the move, but I don't think anyone else outside the window would.
-
But will the bubble teams risk it? So far every moved pick is a playoff team. The Isles and maybe the Rags were the only teams that took some risk at the time of moving theirs. The rest (yes, even St. Louis) knew they were playoff teams at the time of the trade. This will be interesting to watch. I don't think those bubble teams will trade their pick.

BU. Your post is the equivalent of saying Jim Kelly was the best Dolphins QB of all time.

The CBA mandates that all ELC contracts are two-way.

Was it a punch to the face that busted his lip or a stick? I'd complain over that.

Whatever you say, Webster.

The thread itself is great. That specific conversation itself was the December CHL losing streak.

It would be interesting to see where Jagr's numbers would be if he had never left for the KHL. how close to the top would he have been?
-
Can the sabres keep anymore salary? I know there's a limit and I haven't seen the exact number on Stafford.
-
Screw it. I say use the whole clock. Then read off a card while up there and pause at the name like you forget who you are picking.

Sabres Murray: Believe Nothing I Say, And Everything I Do
shrader replied to dejeanneret's topic in The Aud Club
I'm skeptical with a lot of these reports that come out of lesser known guys covering junior hockey or the agents. There's typically a lot of bias there and they're trying to push an agenda. It's particularly bad with the Q (Lemieux is OHL though). -
This discussion is as entertaining as a sabre game.
