The colleges get a bit strange because most aren't actually from Boston. Long Island/New Jersey are the majority of people in that school and God knows those areas have nothing going for them other than nfreeman' residency. The school had won nothing in six years and that covers the entire lifetime of all non-grad school students. The "what have you done for me lately" mentality rules the day.

Goalies are such a strange position. I will never understand the scouting involved with them. To the day, the best college goalie I ever saw was a guy who couldn't city it at even the ECHL level. They're an odd breed that I have long since given up trying to understand.

He will get a nice deal because that's the way it works, but yeah, he certainly created a massive cloud that will hover over his head for a long time. Even that GWG hit him in the shoulder.

I lose track of exactly which ME team hD which problems. There's a lot revolving around them.

Have fun reading up on the scandals surrounding those Maine teams.

He needs significant time in the AHL. I don't want to write him off, but I also don't want anyone to think he is an immediate savior.

He's one of the oldest out there. He was a 23 year old junior. He is goi g to be the story of this tourney years from now. He will have a lot on his shoulders. I think people expect to see Eichel score 5 a game each night. That will never be how it works in college. That kid is miles ahead of everyone out there and when you take the time to watch the little things, you know it. To see a freshman dominate in the way he did, it is truly amazing. I've been Round for the last 15 years and no be has come close to what he has done. Toews is the golden child and Eichel blew him out of the water, who by the way was also not a national championship winner.

Just listen to the play by play, even if it is the crappy coverage of Buccigross. They were waiting for OC to choke it away all game. That is going to echo the thoughts of many others out there. He buckled under the pressure and it is going to be noticed. And I'll readily admit that I have a bias against the larger goalies. I can't help but wonder where this season would have been had Maguire not been medical red shirted.

I'll just say that with all the college hockey I have watched, I have never seen a player control a game anywhere near like he has, and as a freshman no less. I think people expect too much given his hype. I hope we see similar comments when Erie doesn't make it to the Memorial Cup.

He did not get the team there, Eichel and ERod did. Teams saw him choki g in the clutch constantly and they noticed it. He will lose a few suitors after trying to give away three straight games.

He can't stop the goalie from dropping a routine pop up.

Quite honestly, I kind of felt it coming. OC has been too shaky all tourney. That and Gillies was a BU killer since the moment he set foot on PC campus. I kind of distanced myself from BU four years ago with some scandals they had going, so I felt kind of dirty the last couple weeks. We need to get Eichel into the right city now.

O'Connor killed his free agency status in the last three games. He's better off staying at this point.

So that changed quickly. Starman is an idiot. I don't think Levy had the heart to tell him that Edmonton can't draft second.

Go read the NCAA tourney thread to see where I'm considering scouting tonight. One beer has a zamboni on the bottle and the other has scarlet in the name. I'm torn.

I would imagine we that he will take plenty of time to decide. Since he won't be playing anywhere, he can take a few trips and visit teams. I'd also guess that he will want to be around campus as much as possible to finish any classes he needs for his degree, if he actually has any left. He has the reputation of being a very strong student, which has actually been rare at BU.

To watch at the brewery or to watch at home? That is the question.
