  1. Apparently Raffi Torres is under review for another cheap hit that landed him a match penalty. And stupid NHL rules state that he will not be treated as a repeat offender because he hasn't been suspended in over 18 months.
  2. It sucks, but it's real. Until we get to the point where Jerry Hughes sits down at the end of every single play, they're going to be watching him.
  3. It's the Pat Kaleta-effect.
  4. Of course LGR would be the guy who wouldn't realize that he'd be better off squeezing that vowel into the 2nd half of the license plate. edit: And this one doesn't really fit in any thread, so I'll post it here. I was following behind a car this morning with a bumper sticker that read "Texas A&M former student". So apparently they are now making bumper stickers for people who didn't complete their degree. I like to think that this guy went to A&M for about a week, realized it wasn't right for him, but still cherishes his time there, no matter how brief it was.
  5. I guess if it comes down to Reinhart, it's one thing, but if you're decision to carry that one extra guy comes down to someone like Legwand, your decision is already obvious. There's no sense in messing around with waivers even if the guy is not a likely claim. Just keep him around and don't waste any time.
  6. All those personal fouls don't help with the rest of the calls. At this point, these guys have a reputation with the refs. If they see some borderline play, they're more likely to throw that flag because of it. That's what happened with the Clay PI (Clay was blocking the ref's line of site to the defender) and also that horrible Watkins one against New England. They see the defender fall and just assume we did something wrong because all this team does is take penalties.
  7. Do they really need to go to a commercial break when there is a handful of seconds left in a quarter. I have no idea how people can watch this stuff.
  8. They were never going to snap that ball
  9. I'm getting sick off offensive PI calls from refs out of position
  10. They should go to commercial break a few more times
  11. I just saw a blurb on the bottom of the screen on NHL network that Bickell is on waivers. They're just giving him away for free. Didn't see it mentioned (but I didn't look either)
  12. I wonder how many teams have more than one or two players left from 8 years ago.
  13. Right alignment is the only way to go.
  14. They are almost always going to seek out that gun-free zone if planning something like this. No matter how many guns you put out there, there will still wind up being a place without guns. So arming everyone won't magically make this stuff stop either, it'll just shift the location. There needs to be more to this than just arm/disarm everyone. Those arguments will lead us nowhere.
  15. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Where would I be without him?
  16. Blue can't handle simple math.
  17. I always wanted Yuri Khmylev to modify Hasek's nickname and be known as the Yurinator.
  18. Sure smell, steal my post.
  19. My boss just told me that on the day of her wedding, a hurricane rolled through. The name of that hurricane? The same exact name as her mother-in-law.
  20. Ghost of LabattBlue
  21. I could get a separate water meter for the hoses, but $$$$$$$$
  22. You're my boy, blue!
  23. I hate my water bill. That and the way my town bills for water use is borderline robbery. I don't know if it's like this everywhere, but we pay an equal amount for both the water and then sewage. So whatever comes out of your faucets they assume goes back into the sewage. In the winter time, that's fine, but during the summer when about 75% of my water usage goes towards watering the lawn, they are lining their pockets with that double charge.
  24. Ok, so you can't buy directly from them. Now it makes sense. It does seem like it would be easy to get around though. They can't price based on the value of the beer? Ok, at this tier, you get a fancy brewery sticker. At the higher priced level, we give you the sticker and also this fancy t-shirt.
  25. I didn't read the article, but your quote makes it sound like the price thing is only about tours. How much of their business is really going to come from that? People going on tours typically are aware of the beer already, or at least that's my impression from the many I've gone on. Their growth will wind up being based on how well they can network and get their stuff out into stores and bars.
