You've just opened up a huge world of fun for animators, sending subliminal messages by having the mouths say something completely different than what the audio says. My guess is it's been in play forever, mostly telling us about how Jack Eichel is a mediocre hockey player, thus plunging him down anyone's player ratings.

Do they routinely breakdown these strikeout rates for when there are runners on base? That's the most obvious scenario where a strikeout is far less productive than putting the ball in play and getting out.

Personally, I like the sound of electric Bogolieu better.

There is no way that they should be allowed to call that a liquid diet. They're taking away the best liquid! It's like if they forced you to be a vegetarian but then last second switched it to vegan. You're going to take away all this good stuff from me and then on top of that say I can't have cheese either?

I had a woman driving behind me on the highway for about 10 miles and she never once put her phone down. Traffic was moving at a good pace, but its the morning drive so of course there was the occasional break tapping. I was assuming I'd get rear ended each time I touched my brakes. She was holding her phone up so high at certain points that I assume she was taking pictures. And of course, she's crossing over the white line several times while following me. I guess I'd rather have her behind me than in front of me, but my god are some people stupid.

This rule has caused them some trouble in recent years. Would you happen to know if there is a cutoff date for the games played restriction? Would it be 320 games played as of the start of the season or as of the day of the upcoming game? It seems like it would be a roster building headache if you had a guy who had played something like 305 games so far. Depending on how the rule is written, that guy's status would change after 15 games.

And how many wings does this team have that are up to that task? It's a very short list, so good luck finding one, let alone two who can fill that role. If your team needs a guy like Eichel to take up so much ice time, you find a way to shuffle things around and make it happen.

Hopefully we finally have someone who can finish the incredible passes Eichel is capable of throwing.

There really isn't too much wiggle room on this one. Everyone knows what the term will be. The only question comes down to probably about a $million or so per year difference.

What, have they started ejecting people again? I feel like they pretty much stopped paying attention to that last year, but I may be thinking of the college level. I forget which games I saw it in.

At the same, that's a big reason why someone like Kane will sign for a longterm deal. He's not going to take the risk of getting injured and missing out on that next contract, he's going to push for as much guaranteed money as possible.

Or we traded Kane for a first round pick and then that team won the lottery.
