They don't require the neck guards at that age? They did when I was playing. And you make him skip a hockey game to go to a Bills game? Most years, that probably qualifies as abuse.

Ahhh crap, my neighbor missed out at the european qualifier.

Trading within the division won't suddenly make that other team catch you in the standings. The sooner this idea of not trading within the division goes away, the better. I might accept that thought mid-season, but at this time of the year it just gets in the way of building a team properly. Take what you believe to be the best possible deal, regardless of who the other team is.

I thought they only put screens on submarines.

Three headed monster? Did that guy from Beetlejuice get to the other two? Carlson will definitely cash out big time though. The top D available always gets an outrageous contract. The D list as a whole doesn't look so hot, which will drive him up even more. If you want defense, free agency is almost never the way to go. Oh, and it's kind of funny to see Derek Grant on that list.

Wouldn't a polish porch be on the second floor or in the basement?

I've gotten to the point where I realize that this whole topic actually fits perfectly here. A topic that just makes everyone angry is exactly why this board and TSW were created.

**** you sweet lou, this is my board!

She was there only briefly though, right? I want to say the other one was one the show for like 75% of the time compared to her. And yes, I know I could google it, but lazy.

He couldn't even make it on the goalie list? Bust.

I don’t know if the schedule is out, but they will play in raleigh twice this year -
I’m confused because he’s Russian, but he’s also Swedish. But then again, he was also Frank Castle, an American.

And it’s funny when you think back on it and realize how crazy that is. It really is just a couple seconds in your life. I still think back fondly on those days, but it’s half a lifetime ago at this point.

I wish there was an obvious way to see how much these boards match up with the full population of readers out there. We'll never get a true look at the casual followers of these teams (ie. vast majority of the readers). Are you aware of anything that might track those numbers? Based on what I read on these two boards, I think there are a ton of people who click on it to hate read it. I trust 11 when he says he never clicks, but so many others I don't. They usually have too much detail to not have read it. Those hate read clicks count just as much as the masochist who actually likes their work.

For me, I'm not interested in hearing/reading what someone thinks about something unless it's in an actual conversation. That's why opinion pieces have essentially no value to me. There are very few avenues where you can respond to them. And even then, they can be very selective in which responses are seen.

I hope they pronounce it using the proper accent.

Does he get injured all the time though? Do us all a favor and wash those damn shin pads.

The only good thing was how green my grass immediately got after all of that rain. Of course, I had to cut it twice in 3 days, but it's totally worth it. I just wish the timing would have worked out a little better. They're in the process of tearing up lawns in my neighborhood to install fiber cables. They're leaving an ugly mess in a lot of those yards. The rain should help them heal back up pretty quickly though. Unfortunately, they're not going to get to my yard until after all of this is gone most likely. My only issue with that place was that I felt the need to take a shower after seeing that big drum circle thing they have nightly. -
I'm still waiting for your painting of Tom Brady.

Right, which was what I assumed dudacek's pointn to be, that the news organizations have to push across forums to get their message out. I'm just saying there's a side to tv and radio that is not about the news, the entertainment side. There's that part of CBS that exisits solely to entertain senior citizens and ubkev. Maybe that does exist in part to drive people to the news side, but I'd say there's a much bigger portion of radio and tv that served a purpose other than news when compared to the newspaper business and their new internet form.

Any approach is going to look so much better when you're starting off with that Edmonton roster. It didn't look quite so well without those guys in his later days with the Oilers and then the entire Ranger run. There's plenty of decent years there, but it's far removed from his starting days with a team full of hall of famers.
