Some dbag teens decided to throw a large firework at my neighbor’s house today while he was outside with his three year old. It turned into a comedy of errors from there. They had no idea where they were (so a completely random act) and didn’t realize that our neighborhood only has one exit. They sped off in their car and made the wrong turn. So a whole group of us were waiting for them with our cameras ready. They sped by us, but then made another wrong turn... more pictures. The neighbor who they throw it at also got in his car and followed them. After they finally made the right turn to leave, they then turned the wrong way out of the neighborhood, leading them into a large farm/park owned by the town. Huge mistake. That place also has one entrance/exit. So I waited at the entrance with my neighbor, waiting for the cops. Long story short, after a couple hours they found the kids. I’m assuming they’re spending the night in jail because it was after 8 when they got them. Since they fled to town property (they also set something off there), they got hit with trespassing and destruction of property charges. Dumbasses deserve anything they get. If you want to do stupid stuff, don’t do it in broad daylight while people are outside, especially when little kids are out playing. It’s not so much the stuff they were blowing up, it’s that they sped through the whole neighborhood trying to flee.

They actually kept lambert? He’s such a little turd. He should really tell the story about the time when someone stole his girlfriend over the internet. Pure comedy good right there.

Was the kid watching from the stands?

Sabres claim Jordan Nolan off waivers

If guess it's still close to a son-son-son line. I'm mostly indifferent on this one though. -
I wasn't aware that it is still around. I guess that's another product of being out of market.

Did you miss my response to you yesterday about reading Kelly's daughter's blog that was the inspiration for this thread?

Has he actually done color at any point? I can't remember him as anything other than the resident intermission caveman on any broadcast... well, that and as the failed GM.

Smell, if you're listening, liger hasn't posted yet, so I don't have to start reading a certain teenager's blog yet.

The Hunter aspect of his life was definitely overlooked earlier, myself included. If people want to call him a hypocrite because of his younger life, that's fine. But I'm willing to bet that this is something that makes a person grow up incredibly fast. I hope that most haven't had to deal with something even remotely similar. I'm not going to be naive enough to think that's the case though.

I tweaked something in my knee this weekend. It tightens up pretty badly right now when inactive. I really wish I had some sort of treadmill desk at work right about now.

You won't believe #8! :P Ok fine. I should have thought of those as really really short passes.

I prefer to think that Thurman had to steal it from him.

God forbid people are allowed to grow up and change. I guarantee that not a single one of us here is the same person they were 20+ years ago. If people's words were completely invalidated based on crazy acts in their past, there would be nothing but meaningless words everywhere. I must be in an extreme minority, but I find absolutely zero interest in seeking out the thoughts of any of these people. For me Jim Kelly's complete purpose was to throw the football. Now that those days are gone, his purpose is to remind me of those days. It probably has a lot to do with me being isolated from the market for close to 20 years now, but it's so much easier to follow the games themselves when I don't need to hear every word that comes out of their mouths, or the mouths of any of the local talking heads.

Shouldn't every hit be a home run then? He could just lay down a bunt and then with a single step get from each base to the next.

You're reading a blog from one of his daughters now? Have you officially graduated from the bush and binoculars in front of Kim Pegula's house? I can't say that one would be high up there on the list of things I'd be looking to read. It's probably about one slot ahead of liger's ranking of his favorite cheeses.

I know it's not the best gauge here, but take a look at these career stats: McNabb: 238 GP, 7-43-50 Pysyk: 207 GP, 9-34-43 It's funny that this is the comparison being made because those points per game stats are identical. You've hit on the main difference between the two, one is physical and the other is not. That's pretty much it.

I'm sure there's a work around, but I don't get the feeling they'd want Gionta around instead of any of those other guys. If they did, he'd be here already.

Being a player coach would mess with the veteran rules though. If there's any role, it probably wouldn't involve that "player" portion of the title.

From what I've seen of the Kelly stuff, he took issue with McCoy stretching during the anthem. I didn't watch any of this and I haven't heard Kelly's exact comments, but if really was just the McCoy stuff then he's the furthest thing from the caveman a few of you are trying to portray here.

You picked an interesting comparison there in Pysyk. Stat-wise, they're essentially identical. The only difference comes from McNabb being a year older and as a result playing a few extra games and for a much stronger team in LA. I know it doesn't really have much of anything to do with your point, but I was curious and looked up their stats. It's actually pretty impressive just how similar they are.
