I'm sure they played a ton of teams like this, Buffalo included. They were sitting in a great spot where they could threaten anyone with "we'll take so-and-so unless you give us something extra". It's a hell of a lot easier to do all of this when there is a cap and you're also not splitting an expansion draft with another team.

I've been trying to stay away from alcohol lately. Physically I've been a bit of a trainwreck lately so I'm trying to clean up a few things. Of course, right after I decide to do this, I run into a series of days of insanity where I really need a drink. I envy your day drinking right now.

Speaking of that, they showed a couple red band trailers in the theater ahead of Deadpool 2 this weekend. That caught me off guard. The movies looked like pure garbage, so maybe they're trying to create some buzz by showing unrated trailers in the theater. One in particular pretty much had f-bombs every other word, so incredibly lazy.

But what was the reason? It’s hard to believe that it lasted as long as it did. Then again, that state got a bunch of head scratching exemptions.

In recent years, yes (assuming he does). Ever since they started the window of time where pending free agents are allowed to talk to teams, he's the only one who has made it that far.

With the way that team has been bouncing back and forth across the island in recent years, I can't come up with anyone who was in his situation. Mix in the stable state of bumbling management and it is incredibly unique.

I will be once I run over the kids who play in the street and completely ignore cars. I really need to talk to those parents about that, but I don't see that going all that well.

I used to buy salads for lunch at one that was next to my office. I left that job 8 years ago though and have never been in one since. All I remember was not recognizing a single brand name of anything on the shelves. Even the drinks were all weird stuff I've never heard of. I'd imagine that Amazon has changed that a bit since they took over.

I'm still trying to figure out which I'd rather buy, the ridiculously overpriced produce at Whole Foods or those monstrosities they try to pass off as produce in Walmart. I'm going to have to to with Whole Foods. Luckily I have other options close to home and don't have to go with either.

I guess technically they're the same items, but thanks to all the crazy brand names used in Whole Foods, you won't find a single thing that is sold in both stores.

My next door neighbor is going to move out if he can get a good offer on his house. We want them to go since they don't particularly fit in well with just about anyone. The problem is, he just listed the house for way more than it is worth, probably close to $100K more. It's great for us in more ways than one if he can get anywhere near that number, but I just don't see it happening. Strangely enough, the other house that is adjacent to our lot just sold too. This is a new construction neighborhood that started in 2015, so it's a bit strange to see people moving out so quickly. That one was a work relocation though, so don't go accusing me of being the worst neighbor ever.

That trailer looked like a mess. It pretty much was a bunch of randomness mixed in with a "by the way, it's Queen" message.
