  1. I like it much better against the mid-level teams of the world who don't have a Malkin waiting to jump out there with the next line.
  2. This rule has caused them some trouble in recent years. Would you happen to know if there is a cutoff date for the games played restriction? Would it be 320 games played as of the start of the season or as of the day of the upcoming game? It seems like it would be a roster building headache if you had a guy who had played something like 305 games so far. Depending on how the rule is written, that guy's status would change after 15 games.
  3. And how many wings does this team have that are up to that task? It's a very short list, so good luck finding one, let alone two who can fill that role. If your team needs a guy like Eichel to take up so much ice time, you find a way to shuffle things around and make it happen.
  4. Hopefully we finally have someone who can finish the incredible passes Eichel is capable of throwing.
  5. There really isn't too much wiggle room on this one. Everyone knows what the term will be. The only question comes down to probably about a $million or so per year difference.
  6. What, have they started ejecting people again? I feel like they pretty much stopped paying attention to that last year, but I may be thinking of the college level. I forget which games I saw it in.
  7. I bet they wait until October 1st to make it look spontaneous.
  8. How high have the Raiders jumped now that they're moving?
  9. He won't be that guy... because when he gets there Eichel and Kane will already be at 40 and 35. (I'd add an emoji but I can't on mobile)
  10. At the same, that's a big reason why someone like Kane will sign for a longterm deal. He's not going to take the risk of getting injured and missing out on that next contract, he's going to push for as much guaranteed money as possible.
  11. Or we traded Kane for a first round pick and then that team won the lottery.
  12. That's me 99% of the time. I learned it very early. Today was a fluke where I was done, but then suddenly couldn't access the file I needed to attack to an email.
  13. I just made the dumb mistake of telling someone I'd have work done for them today. Usually I'm intentionally vague when it comes to timelines. Right as I'm about to finish up... server crashes.
  14. I use it as my time to be really confused about what video games are popular today. Playing soccer with race cars? Ummmm.... ok.
  15. I feel like I missed something good. I didn't even know the Kane thread was a thing anymore until it was mentioned here. I must have strongly programmed myself to not even see it on the list of threads.
  16. I wore my white BU jersey to every game for 9 years. I retired it after the 2009 national championship. I hope your jersey is as disgusting as mine. There are countless beer stains all over that thing.
  17. I'm the same way, but that's because the adults are d-bags.
  18. Nice. It makes me want to go and dig up the old hockey episode.
  19. Hand them the cup right now. I have absolutely no idea what that is supposed to be. My initial thought was dinosaur.
  20. It looks like this one was as thrilling as the sun burn I got while doing yard work.
  21. Jagr would have had a chance to ruin that last part if he had found a job this year.
  22. And let's face it, Buffalo does not represent all of New York State. That will never be the case.
  23. Isn't the bar already below his chin the second he walks up to it?
  24. I really need to watch that again sometime soon. If it came out today, it would still fit with the current stage perfectly.
  25. Be glad she didn't buy you the DVD. That scene is even longer.
